مع اقتراب مونديال 2026، تتزايد الأسئلة حول الإجراءات الجديدة التي أعلنتها واشنطن لاستقبال ملايين المشجعين. وبين قرارات تمنح أولوية في مواعيد التأشيرة لحاملي تذاكر المباريات، يبقى السؤال الأهم: هل يمكن للتذكرة وحدها أن تغيّر قواعد الدخول إلى الولايات المتحدة؟
الرئيس الأمريكي دونالد ترمب، أعلن يوم (الإثنين)، تطبيق نظام «FIFA Pass» الذي يمنح أولوية الحصول على مواعيد مقابلات التأشيرة للأشخاص الذين قاموا باقتناء تذاكر مباريات كأس العالم لكرة القدم 2026.
وستتيح هذه المبادرة، التي تشرف عليها وزارة الخارجية الأمريكية وتم اقتراح العمل بها في مستهل السنة المقبلة، تسريع إجراءات الحصول على التأشيرة بالنسبة للأشخاص الذين يملكون تذاكر المباريات، وتدبيراً أفضل لتدفق الزوار المرتقبين خلال هذا الحدث الرياضي الضخم.
وستستضيف الولايات المتحدة الصيف المقبل 78 مباراة ضمن كأس العالم لكرة القدم، في 11 مدينة، في إطار هذه التظاهرة الرياضية العالمية التي تنظمها بشكل مشترك مع المكسيك وكندا.
وقال الرئيس ترمب، في تصريح بالبيت الأبيض إلى جانب رئيس الاتحاد الدولي لكرة القدم (فيفا) جياني إنفانتينو: «طلبت من إدارتي أن تبذل قصارى جهدها حتى يحقق مونديال 2026 نجاحاً منقطع النظير».
وأشار إلى أن كأس العالم 2026 ستشكل «مناسبة فريدة لتسليط الضوء على حجم المنافسات الرياضية الأمريكية ذات المستوى العالمي»، منوهاً بأن تنظيم هذه التظاهرة العالمية سيتزامن مع تخليد الذكرى الـ250 لاستقلال الولايات المتحدة.
وأضاف «كما ستشكل كأس العالم فرصة اقتصادية مهمة بالنسبة للشركات الأمريكية، إذ من المتوقع أن تدر أكثر من 30 مليار دولار وتوفر ما يناهز 200 ألف وظيفة في الولايات المتحدة».
من جانبه، أشار وزير الخارجية الأمريكي ماركو روبيو، إلى أن الولايات المتحدة عبأت أكثر من 400 موظف قنصلي إضافي في أنحاء العالم لمعالجة تدفق طلبات التأشيرة، مما أسهم في مضاعفة عدد الموظفين القنصليين في بعض القنصليات.
وقال: «اليوم في حوالى 80% من البلدان، أصبح ممكناً الحصول على موعد تأشيرة خلال أجل 60 يوماً، حيث في السابق، كان الأمر يستغرق ستة أشهر إضافية، وفي بعض الحالات، أصبح الحصول على الموعد ممكناً في غضون أقل من شهرين».
وأكد أن اقتناء تذكرة لكأس العالم لا يضمن تلقائياً الحصول على تأشيرة أمريكية أو الدخول إلى الولايات المتحدة، بل يضمن فقط تسريع أجل الحصول على موعد للمقابلة.
من جانبه، أبرز إنفانتينو أن الولايات المتحدة ستستضيف العالم، وأن كأس العالم ستكون تظاهرة تتسم بالشمول، مؤكداً أن نظام (فيفا باس) يعد مثالاً ملموساً على ذلك.
وقال: «إن الولايات المتحدة تستعد لاستضافة مشجعين من العالم بأسره على نطاق غير مسبوق، سنبذل ما في وسعنا حتى تسهم كرة القدم في توحيد العالم في أمريكا الشمالية منذ إعطاء انطلاقة المنافسات في يونيو المقبل».
وتشير الفيفا إلى أنه سيتم طرح أكثر من ستة ملايين تذكرة للبيع برسم تظاهرة كأس العالم 2026، التي ستقام مبارياتها في 16 مدينة في كل من كندا والولايات المتحدة والمكسيك.

U.S. President Donald Trump announced on (Monday) the implementation of the "FIFA Pass" system, which grants priority for visa interview appointments to individuals who have purchased tickets for the 2026 FIFA World Cup matches.
This initiative, overseen by the U.S. Department of State and proposed to be implemented at the beginning of next year, will expedite the visa application process for individuals holding match tickets and better manage the expected influx of visitors during this massive sporting event.
The United States will host 78 matches as part of the World Cup next summer, in 11 cities, as part of this global sporting event organized jointly with Mexico and Canada.
President Trump stated in a White House announcement alongside FIFA President Gianni Infantino: "I have asked my administration to do everything possible to ensure that the 2026 World Cup is an unprecedented success."
He noted that the 2026 World Cup will be "a unique opportunity to highlight the scale of American sports competitions at a world-class level," pointing out that organizing this global event will coincide with the 250th anniversary of the United States' independence.
He added, "The World Cup will also represent an important economic opportunity for American businesses, as it is expected to generate more than $30 billion and provide nearly 200,000 jobs in the United States."
For his part, U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio indicated that the United States has mobilized more than 400 additional consular staff worldwide to handle the influx of visa applications, which has contributed to doubling the number of consular staff in some consulates.
He said, "Today in about 80% of countries, it is possible to get a visa appointment within 60 days, whereas previously it took an additional six months, and in some cases, it has become possible to get an appointment in less than two months."
He confirmed that purchasing a World Cup ticket does not automatically guarantee obtaining a U.S. visa or entry into the United States; it only ensures a faster appointment for the interview.
Infantino emphasized that the United States will host the world, and the World Cup will be an inclusive event, confirming that the FIFA Pass system is a tangible example of this.
He said, "The United States is preparing to host fans from all over the world on an unprecedented scale; we will do everything we can to ensure that football helps unite the world in North America starting from the kickoff of the competitions in June."
FIFA indicates that more than six million tickets will be available for sale for the 2026 World Cup, which will take place in 16 cities across Canada, the United States, and Mexico.
