تأهل الخلود إلى دور ربع النهائي من بطولة كأس خادم الحرمين الشريفين لموسم 2025-2026، بعد تجاوزه النجمة في مباريات دور الـ16 التي أقيمت مساء اليوم (الإثنين).
في عنيزة، خطف الخلود بطاقة العبور بعد فوزه على النجمة بهدف دون رد، جاء بتوقيع راميو إنريكي في الدقيقة العاشرة من الشوط الإضافي الأول، بعد انتهاء الوقت الأصلي بالتعادل السلبي.
وبهذا الانتصار واصل الخلود مفاجآته في البطولة، ليحجز مكانه في الدور القادم للمرة الأولى في تاريخه.
يُذكر أن قرعة دور ربع النهائي ستقام الأربعاء القادم عند الثالثة عصراً لتحديد مواجهات المرحلة القادمة من البطولة الأغلى.

Al-Khulood has qualified for the quarter-finals of the King Abdulaziz Cup for the 2025-2026 season, after defeating Al-Najma in the Round of 16 matches held this evening (Monday).
In Unaizah, Al-Khulood snatched the ticket to advance after winning against Al-Najma with a score of 1-0, thanks to a goal by Ramiro Enrique in the tenth minute of the first extra time, after the original time ended in a goalless draw.
With this victory, Al-Khulood continues to surprise in the tournament, securing its place in the next round for the first time in its history.
It is worth mentioning that the draw for the quarter-finals will take place next Wednesday at 3 PM to determine the matchups for the next stage of the prestigious tournament.
