في إطار منافسات دورة الألعاب الآسيوية للشباب «البحرين 2025»، خاض اليوم السبت لاعبو ولاعبات المنتخب السعودي للتايكوندو مواجهاتهم ضمن دور الـ16 من البطولة، في ثلاث فئات مختلفة.
ففي منافسات السيدات لوزن (-49 كغم)، خاضت اللاعبة لارا مطر لقاءها أمام الصينية لي ميكسو، وانتهت المواجهة بخسارة مطر بنتيجة 0 - 2، لتودّع المنافسة من هذا الدور.
وفي فئة السيدات لوزن (-55 كغم)، واجهت السعودية غرام كعبي نظيرتها الأردنية رانيا طقاطقة، وانتهى اللقاء بفوز اللاعبة الأردنية بنتيجة 2 - 0.
أما في فئة الرجال لوزن (-73 كغم)، فقد شارك اللاعب نواف حسين الذي خسر مواجهته أمام الأوزبكي اختزجون مختاروف بنتيجة 0 - 2، ليغادر هو الآخر البطولة من دور الـ16.

In the women's category for the weight (-55 kg), Saudi athlete Gharam Kaabi faced her Jordanian counterpart Rania Taqtaqa, and the match concluded with a victory for the Jordanian player by a score of 2 - 0.
As for the men's category for the weight (-73 kg), player Nawaf Hussein participated but lost his match against the Uzbek athlete Ikhtizhon Mukhtarov with a score of 0 - 2, thus also leaving the tournament in the Round of 16.
