أعلن نادي فيورنتينا الإيطالي عودة المدرب باولو فانولي لقيادة الفريق الأول لكرة القدم، خلفاً لفابيو غروسو الذي تمت إقالته بسبب سوء النتائج.
وكان فيورنتينا قد أقال غروسو عقب ثلاث هزائم متتالية في مسابقة الدوري الإيطالي هذا الموسم، ليتذيل الفريق جدول الترتيب دون رصيد.
وقال النادي في بيانٍ عبر موقعه الرسمي: إنه عيّن فانولي مدرباً للفريق الأول، موجهاً الشكر إليه على الحماس الذي أبداه لتولي قيادة الفريق مرة أخرى.
وعاد فانولي إلى فيورنتينا سريعاً، بعدما أنقذ الفريق من خطر الهبوط الموسم الماضي، عقب أن حلّ محل ستيفانو بيولي في نوفمبر الماضي، بعد بداية للموسم لم يحقق خلالها الفريق أي فوز في 10 مباريات.
ويستهل فانولي مشواره مع فيورنتينا بمواجهة فينيتسيا، يوم الجمعة المقبل، ضمن منافسات الجولة الرابعة من الدوري الإيطالي، بحثاً عن الانتصار الأول.
The Italian club Fiorentina announced the return of coach Paolo Vanoli to lead the first football team, succeeding Fabio Grosso who was dismissed due to poor results.
Fiorentina had sacked Grosso after three consecutive defeats in this season's Serie A, leaving the team at the bottom of the standings with no points.
The club stated in a statement on its official website that it has appointed Vanoli as the head coach, expressing gratitude for his enthusiasm to take charge of the team once again.
Vanoli quickly returned to Fiorentina after saving the team from the threat of relegation last season, having replaced Stefano Pioli last November, after a start to the season in which the team did not achieve any wins in 10 matches.
Vanoli will begin his journey with Fiorentina by facing Venezia next Friday, in the fourth round of Serie A, in search of the first victory.
