أظهرت بيانات البنك المركزي السعودي «ساما» ارتفاع قيمة الاحتياطيات السعودية بالعملات الأجنبية بنسبة 7.2% بنهاية شهر أغسطس الماضي إلى 462.15 مليار دولار (1.733 تريليون ريال)، مقابل 431.11 مليار دولار (1.616 تريليون ريال) في الشهر المماثل من عام 2025م.
وبحسب البيانات، كانت قيمة الاحتياطيات بالعملات الأجنبية تبلغ 463.65 مليار دولار (1.738 تريليون ريال) بنهاية شهر يوليو 2026م، لتنخفض بنهاية أغسطس بنسبة 0.32% على أساس شهري.
ارتفاع الأصول
ووفقاً للبيانات سجلت الأصول الاحتياطية الرسمية للسعودية بنهاية شهر أغسطس الماضي ارتفاعاً بنسبة 6.7% على أساس سنوي، لتصل إلى 487.31 مليار دولار (1.827 تريليون ريال)، مقابل 456.65 مليار دولار (1.712 تريليون ريال) في الشهر ذاته من العام 2025م. وعلى أساس شهري، تراجعت الأصول الاحتياطية الرسمية للمملكة خلال شهر أغسطس للشهر الثاني على التوالي، حيث انخفضت بنسبة 0.27% وبما يعادل 1.32 مليار دولار (4.96 مليار ريال) عن قيمتها في نهاية يوليو 2026م والبالغة 488.63 مليار دولار (1.832 تريليون ريال). فيما كانت الأصول الاحتياطية تبلغ 494.55 مليار دولار (1.854 تريليون ريال) بنهاية شهر يونيو 2026م.
الأصول الاحتياطية الرسمية
وتتكون الأصول الاحتياطية الرسمية للسعودية من الذهب النقدي، وحقوق السحب الخاصة، والاحتياطي لدى صندوق النقد الدولي، والاحتياطيات بالعملات الأجنبية. وتراجعت قيمة حقوق السحب الخاصة بنهاية أغسطس بنحو 2% على أساس سنوي، إلى 21.16 مليار دولار (79.37 مليار ريال)، مقابل 21.6 مليار دولار (81.01 مليار ريال) في الشهر نفسه من العام الماضي، فيما زادت مقارنة مع قيمتها في شهر يوليو الماضي والتي كانت تبلغ 21.01 مليار دولار (78.8 مليار ريال). وارتفع وضع الاحتياطي لدى صندوق النقد الدولي إلى 3.56 مليار دولار (13.34 مليار ريال) في أغسطس 2026م، ليزيد بنحو 1.4% مقابل قيمته البالغة 3.51 مليار دولار (13.15 مليار ريال) في الشهر ذاته من العام الماضي. واستقرت قيمة الذهب النقدي عند 433.07 مليون دولار (1.624 مليار ريال) بنهاية شهر أغسطس 2026م، بحسب بيانات البنك المركزي.
مستويات متينة
وأشاد تقرير مشاورات المادة الرابعة للمملكة العربية السعودية لعام 2026م، الصادر من «صندوق النقد الدولي»، أواخر يوليو الماضي، بالقطاع المصرفي السعودي الذي يتمتع بمستويات متينة من رأس المال والسيولة تعزز قدرته على احتواء تداعيات التطورات الراهنة، إلى جانب استمرار التحسن في جودة الأصول. ولفت التقرير إلى تراجع نسبة القروض المتعثرة إلى 1.0% من إجمالي القروض، وهو أدنى مستوى تسجله المملكة خلال عقد كامل، منوهاً بجهود البنك المركزي في تعزيز الاستقرار المالي والحد من المخاطر من خلال تفعيل سياساته الاحترازية.

Increase in Assets
According to the data, Saudi Arabia's official reserve assets recorded an increase of 6.7% year-on-year at the end of August last month, reaching 487.31 billion dollars (1.827 trillion riyals), compared to 456.65 billion dollars (1.712 trillion riyals) in the same month of 2025. On a monthly basis, the official reserve assets of the Kingdom declined in August for the second consecutive month, decreasing by 0.27%, equivalent to 1.32 billion dollars (4.96 billion riyals) from their value at the end of July 2026, which was 488.63 billion dollars (1.832 trillion riyals). Meanwhile, the reserve assets stood at 494.55 billion dollars (1.854 trillion riyals) at the end of June 2026.
Official Reserve Assets
The official reserve assets of Saudi Arabia consist of cash gold, Special Drawing Rights, reserves with the International Monetary Fund, and foreign currency reserves. The value of Special Drawing Rights declined by about 2% year-on-year at the end of August to 21.16 billion dollars (79.37 billion riyals), compared to 21.6 billion dollars (81.01 billion riyals) in the same month of the previous year, while it increased compared to its value in July, which was 21.01 billion dollars (78.8 billion riyals). The reserve position with the International Monetary Fund rose to 3.56 billion dollars (13.34 billion riyals) in August 2026, increasing by about 1.4% compared to its value of 3.51 billion dollars (13.15 billion riyals) in the same month of the previous year. The value of cash gold remained stable at 433.07 million dollars (1.624 billion riyals) at the end of August 2026, according to data from the central bank.
Solid Levels
A report from the Fourth Article Consultations for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for 2026, issued by the "International Monetary Fund" in late July, praised the Saudi banking sector, which enjoys solid levels of capital and liquidity that enhance its ability to contain the repercussions of current developments, alongside the continued improvement in asset quality. The report noted a decrease in the ratio of non-performing loans to 1.0% of total loans, the lowest level recorded by the Kingdom in a decade, highlighting the efforts of the central bank in enhancing financial stability and mitigating risks through the activation of its precautionary policies.
