لم تكن الفنانة المصرية وفاء مكي تتخيل أن الوجبة التي طلبتها لسد جوعها ستتحول إلى كابوس مقزز، إذ انهارت وتملكتها الصدمة فور فتح غطاء الطعام الآتي من أحد أشهر مطاعم الجيزة، لتجد حشرات و«ديدان» تتحرك بين مكونات الأكل.
بدلاً من الاكتفاء بشكوى روتينية لخدمة العملاء، حزمت الفنانة الوجبة الملوثة وتوجهت بها مباشرة إلى قسم الشرطة، محررة محضراً رسمياً يوثق الواقعة المنافية للذوق العام والسلامة الصحية، ومطالبة بمحاسبة عاجلة ومقاضاة المطعم الشهير.
بدورها، لم تتوانَ الأجهزة الأمنية بالجيزة عن التدخل، إذ تحركت القوة فوراً وأحالت البلاغ ومحتويات الوجبة إلى النيابة العامة لمباشرة التحقيقات وإرسال المعاينات للمختبرات المختصة، تمهيداً لاتخاذ إجراءات رادعة قد تصل إلى الإغلاق المباشر وتغريم المنشأة.
The Egyptian artist Wafaa Makki could not have imagined that the meal she ordered to satisfy her hunger would turn into a disgusting nightmare, as she collapsed and was overcome with shock upon opening the food container from one of the most famous restaurants in Giza, only to find insects and "worms" moving among the food ingredients.
Instead of settling for a routine complaint to customer service, the artist packed the contaminated meal and went directly to the police station, filing an official report documenting the incident that violates public decency and health safety, demanding urgent accountability and legal action against the famous restaurant.
For its part, the security forces in Giza did not hesitate to intervene, as the team moved immediately and referred the complaint and the contents of the meal to the public prosecutor to initiate investigations and send samples to the relevant laboratories, in preparation for taking deterrent measures that could lead to immediate closure and fines for the establishment.
