تحول سكن طلابي في مدينة سمنان الإيرانية إلى ساحة محاصرة بالعنف، بعدما بدأت الأحداث بمحاولة شخصين إيرانيين في حالة سكر شديدة اقتحام المقر المخصص للطلبة العراقيين، قبل أن يتصدى لهما الطلاب ويطردوهما لحماية المبنى.
لكن الموقف سرعان ما انفجر بشكل غير متوقع، إذ عاد الشخصان برفقة حشد غاضب يضم نحو 150 شخصاً اقتحموا محيط السكن. وتسبب الهجوم في تهشيم زجاج المبنى وإلحاق أضرار بالغة بالممتلكات ونهب مقتنيات الطلاب الشخصية، فضلاً عن إصابة عدد من الطلاب العراقيين بجروح أثناء محاولتهم الاستبسال في مواجهة المعتدين والتحصن لحماية أنفسهم ومسكنهم.
وتطورت المواجهات لتجبر إدارة جامعة سمنان والشرطة الإيرانية على التدخل السريع للسيطرة على الموقف، حيث جرى استدعاء حافلات لنقل الطلبة العراقيين تحت حراسة مشددة إلى موقع آمن. وفيما تناقلت وسائل إعلام عراقية وعربية صور ومقاطع وشهادات توثق الأحداث، يسيطر الصمت التام على الجهات الرسمية دون إصدار أي بيان يوضح ملابسات الحادثة.
A student residence in the Iranian city of Semnan turned into a scene besieged by violence after two severely intoxicated Iranian individuals attempted to storm the premises designated for Iraqi students, before the students confronted them and expelled them to protect the building.
However, the situation quickly escalated unexpectedly, as the two individuals returned accompanied by an angry crowd of about 150 people who stormed the vicinity of the residence. The attack resulted in shattered windows, severe damage to property, and the looting of students' personal belongings, in addition to injuring several Iraqi students while they tried to bravely confront the assailants and fortify themselves and their residence.
The confrontations escalated, forcing the administration of Semnan University and the Iranian police to intervene quickly to control the situation, where buses were summoned to transport the Iraqi students under heavy guard to a safe location. While Iraqi and Arab media circulated images, videos, and testimonies documenting the events, complete silence prevails among official entities without issuing any statement clarifying the circumstances of the incident.
