وجّه مستثمر ومالك نادي الخلود، الأمريكي بن هاربورغ، رسالة وداعية مؤثرة إلى جماهير ناديه واللاعب عبدالعزيز العليوة عبر حسابه الرسمي في منصة «إكس»، وذلك عقب إتمام إجراءات انتقال اللاعب رسمياً إلى صفوف نادي القادسية.
وعبّر بن هاربورغ عن مشاعره الممزوجة بالحزن والأمل بعد مغادرة اللاعب، مستعرضاً المحطات البارزة في مسيرته مع الخلود؛ إذ أشار إلى أنه انضم للفريق بإمكانات كبيرة، ليغادره اليوم وهو متوّج بجائزتي أفضل لاعب واعد في دوري روشن للموسم الماضي وأفضل لاعب في كأس الخليج، بعد أن كان عنصراً حاسماً في تحقيق نجاحات الفريق بأهدافه وصناعته للفرص.
وأكد مالك نادي الخلود أن خطوة الانتقال تأتي انسجاماً مع الاستراتيجية المعتمدة منذ الاستحواذ على النادي، والقائمة على الاستثمار في عقود اللاعبين لضمان استدامة النادي وتطوره. كما أشار إلى أن اللعب للقادسية سيعزز من فرصة انضمام العليوة لصفوف المنتخب السعودي الأول، مذكراً بالإحباط الذي عاشه النادي سابقاً بشأن تمثيل لاعبيه للمنتخب قبل كأس العالم الأخيرة.

Ben Harburg expressed his mixed feelings of sadness and hope after the player's departure, highlighting the key milestones in his journey with Al-Khulood; he noted that he joined the team with great potential, and today he leaves as the winner of two awards: Best Promising Player in the Roshen League for the last season and Best Player in the Gulf Cup, after being a decisive element in achieving the team's successes with his goals and chance creation.
The owner of Al-Khulood Club confirmed that the transfer step aligns with the strategy adopted since the acquisition of the club, which is based on investing in player contracts to ensure the sustainability and development of the club. He also mentioned that playing for Al-Qadsiah will enhance Al-Aliwah's chances of joining the Saudi national team, reminding of the frustration the club previously experienced regarding its players representing the national team before the last World Cup.
