وافق نادي الاتحاد على عرض نادي باير ليفركوزن الألماني للتعاقد مع اللاعب الفرنسي موسى ديابي مقابل أكثر من 30 مليون يورو، وبانتظار استكمال الإجراءات النهائية لإتمام الصفقة.
وكشفت مصادر مطلعة، أن ديابي ووكيل أعماله اتفقا على عدم الرحيل خالي الوفاض، بعدما أبلغته إدارة الاتحاد بعدم ممانعتها رحيله دون دفع مستحقاته المتبقية.
وكان اللاعب قد تلقى طلباً بالتنازل عن مستحقاته بعد عرض من باير ليفركوزن الألماني بلغ 30 مليون يورو.
من جانب آخر، أكد مصدر لـ«عكاظ» من داخل البيت الاتحادي أنه لم يتم اتخاذ قرار بشأن عقد اللاعب موسى ديابي الذي طالب بالخروج بعد تلقيه عرض الانتقال لنادي ليفركوزن الألماني، مشيراً إلى أنه إذا كانت رغبة اللاعب هي الخروج وفسخ عقده فهذا قراره ويتحمّل تبعاته دون أي مسؤولية لأنه جاء من طرف واحد، وبالتالي فإن أي التزام حيال هذا القرار سيكون من طرف اللاعب.
وشدّد المصدر على أن إدارة النادي ملتزمة بعقد ديابي في حال استمراره مع الفريق الأول لكرة القدم بالنادي وإكمال الموسم مع زملائه اللاعبين في الفريق. وشدّد المصدر على أنهم حريصون على حفظ حقوق النادي ولن يتم دفع أي مبالغ للاعب في حال فضّل المغادرة وعدم إكمال العقد المبرم بينه وبين العميد، مشيراً إلى أن اللاعب يطالب برواتب مستقبلية لم يحن موعدها، وهو من يقرر إما البقاء والحصول عليها حسب بنود العقد أو التخلي عنها.

On another note, a source confirmed to "Okaz" from within the Al-Ittihad club that no decision has been made regarding the contract of player Moussa Diaby, who requested to leave after receiving a transfer offer from Bayer Leverkusen, indicating that if the player's desire is to leave and terminate his contract, that is his decision and he bears the consequences without any responsibility because it came from one side. Therefore, any obligation regarding this decision will be the player's responsibility.
The source emphasized that the club's management is committed to Diaby's contract if he continues with the first football team and completes the season with his teammates. The source stressed that they are keen to preserve the club's rights and no amounts will be paid to the player if he prefers to leave and not complete the contract agreed upon between him and the club, indicating that the player is demanding future salaries that are not yet due, and it is up to him to decide whether to stay and receive them according to the terms of the contract or to forgo them.
