في الوقت الذي يستعد حازم اللحياني لتسلم رئاسة نادي الوحدة، واعتماد إدارته من قبل وزارة الرياضة لقيادة النادي لمدة أربع سنوات قادمة، بدأ اللحياني في مشاورات جادة وبناءة مع أصحاب شركات ورجال أعمال؛ لجلبهم رعاةً من أجل توفير سيولة مالية للنادي.
كما يجري اللحياني مشاورات مع أعضاء مجلس إدارته من أجل توزيع مهمات العمل الإداري على الأعضاء كافة مع بداية انطلاقة مرحلة العمل. وشرع اللحياني في مشاورات بشأن انتقاء الأجهزة الفنية والإدارية للألعاب كافة من خلال اختيار كوادر تمتلك الخبرة والطموح في تحقيق نتائج تتناسب مع أهداف الإدارة التي تسعى للنهوض بألعاب النادي كافة.
من جهة أخرى هناك حراك في المدرج الوحداوي لتوحيد العمل تحت قيادة رئيس الرابطة عاطي الموركي، إذ أكد لـ«عكاظ» عبدالرزاق محبوب مسؤول مدرج نادي الوحدة عودة طاقم المدرج لمهمات عمله بعد انقطاعه لسنوات عدة احتجاجاً على سوء نتائج الفريق في السنوات الماضية.
وقال: «إن المدرج سيعود تحت قيادة رئيس الرابطة عاطي الموركي وسنوفر الأعلام والشعارات الوحداوية للجماهير كافة قبل المباراة، والانتظام إلى الرابطة في التشجيع المعنوي للاعبين منذ انطلاقة الدوري».
وأضاف أنهم متفائلون بإدارة حازم اللحياني في تحسين مستوى الفريق وجلب لاعبين مميزين يخدمون النادي سنواتٍ قادمة، مثل موسى مدخلي الذي جلبه اللحياني أثناء فترة رئاسته الأولى، وكان مدخلي هدافا، وخدم الفريق أكثر من 7 سنوات، ونحن نريد بناء فريق قوي، ولا نستعجل الصعود لدوري روشن بفريق عادي.
من جانبه رحب نائب رئيس رابطة مشجعي الوحدة فيصل الحازمي بعودة طاقم مدرج الوحدة إلى مهماته ومساندة الرابطة في دورها المعنوي خلف اللاعبين أثناء المباريات الرسمية، وهذا الأمر يعتبر إضافة ثمينة لعمل الرابطة والوقوف خلف اللاعبين والإدارة الجديدة في تأدية دورها المناط بها لخدمة النادي في الألعاب كافة.
وختم الحازمي حديثه بالقول إن حازم اللحياني ليس غريباً على النادي، فهو ملم بكل ظروفة ومتطلبات المرحلة القادمة، التي تتطلب وقفة صادقة وعملاً مهنياً يتمثّل في جلب لاعبين محليين يخدمون الفريق سنوات عدة، فالبناء لدينا أهم من الصعود بفريق ضعيف فنيّاً قد يعيدنا مرة أخرى في نهاية الموسم.
As Hazem Al-Luhayani prepares to take over the presidency of Al-Wehda Club, with his administration awaiting approval from the Ministry of Sports to lead the club for the next four years, Al-Luhayani has begun serious and constructive consultations with business owners and entrepreneurs to attract sponsors in order to provide financial liquidity for the club.
Al-Luhayani is also holding discussions with the members of his board of directors to distribute administrative tasks among all members at the start of the new phase of work. He has initiated consultations regarding the selection of technical and administrative staff for all sports, aiming to choose individuals with the experience and ambition to achieve results that align with the administration's goals of advancing all of the club's sports.
On another note, there is movement in the Al-Wehda stands to unify efforts under the leadership of the association president, Ati Al-Murki. Abdul Razzaq Mahboub, the head of the Al-Wehda stands, confirmed to "Okaz" that the stands crew will return to their duties after several years of absence in protest against the team's poor results in recent years.
He stated, "The stands will return under the leadership of association president Ati Al-Murki, and we will provide flags and Al-Wehda banners for all fans before the match, and we will organize support for the players from the start of the league."
He added that they are optimistic about Hazem Al-Luhayani's administration in improving the team's performance and bringing in distinguished players who will serve the club for years to come, like Moussa Makhli, whom Al-Luhayani brought during his first presidency. Makhli was a top scorer and served the team for over 7 years, and we want to build a strong team, without rushing to ascend to the Roshan League with an ordinary team.
For his part, Faisal Al-Hazmi, the vice president of the Al-Wehda Fans Association, welcomed the return of the Al-Wehda stands crew to their duties and supporting the association in its moral role behind the players during official matches. This is considered a valuable addition to the association's work and standing behind the players and the new administration in fulfilling its role in serving the club across all sports.
Al-Hazmi concluded his remarks by saying that Hazem Al-Luhayani is not a stranger to the club; he is well aware of all its circumstances and the requirements of the upcoming phase, which necessitates a sincere effort and professional work that involves bringing in local players who will serve the team for several years. Building a strong foundation is more important to us than rushing to ascend with a technically weak team that could bring us back down at the end of the season.
