قرر نادي لانس الفرنسي، تفعيل بند الشراء النهائي في عقد اللاعب سعود عبد الحميد، بعد انتقال اللاعب إلى لانس مطلع الموسم الحالي على سبيل الإعارة من صفوف روما الإيطالي، مع بندٍ يسمح بشراء عقد اللاعب نهائياً.
وكشفت مصادر إعلامية عن أن لانس قرر دفع 3.5 مليون يورو، وهي القيمة المتفق عليها لشراء النجم السعودي، لأن روما يملك حق إعادة شراء اللاعب خلال الميركاتو الصيفي مقابل 4 ملايين يورو.
وقد قدم السعودي «سعود عبدالحميد» في الـ 30 مباراة بمختلف المسابقات التي شارك فيها، مستويات مميزة مع فريقه الفرنسي، سجل خلالها 3 أهداف وقدم 8 تمريرات حاسمة، وساهم في وصوله إلى المزكر الثاني برصيد 70 نقطة وبفارق 6 نقاطٍ عن المتصدر باريس سان جيرمان.
