استبعد المدير الفني للهلال سيموني إنزاغي، اللاعب الفرنسي كريم بنزيما عن مواجهة فريقه المرتقبة التي تُقام مساء غد (الخميس) على ملعب مدينة المجمعة الرياضية، بسبب إصابته الأخيرة، رغم مشاركة اللاعب في التدريبات وجاهزيته للمشاركة.
وفضّل إنزاغي الاعتماد على ليوناردو بدلاً منه، فيما أبدى بنزيما غضبه من قرار إبعاده عن تشكيلة المباراة، مؤكداً جاهزيته للعب.
يذكر أن كريم بنزيما تعرض إلى 3 إصابات منذ انضمامه إلى الهلال خلال فترة الانتقالات الشتوية، الأولى إصابة في العضلة الضامة، ثم في إصبع القدم، والثالثة آلام أسفل الظهر.
