أعلن نادي الاتحاد تعرض مهاجمه الدولي صالح الشهري لإصابة في عضلة الساق اليمنى، وذلك عقب عودته من مشاركته مع المنتخب السعودي الأول في فترة التوقف الدولية الأخيرة. وأكد النادي أن اللاعب سيبدأ برنامجاً تأهيلياً فوراً للعودة إلى الملاعب في القريب العاجل.
وأوضح البيان الرسمي الصادر عن نادي الاتحاد أن الفحوصات الطبية الدقيقة التي أجريت للاعب صالح الشهري (32 عاماً) أثبتت وجود إصابة في عضلة الساق اليمنى، وبناءً على هذا التشخيص قرر الجهاز الطبي وضع برنامج علاجي وتأهيلي مكثف للاعب، ما يعني غيابه المؤكد عن قائمة الفريق في المواجهة المرتقبة أمام الحزم.

Based on this diagnosis, the medical staff decided to implement an intensive treatment and rehabilitation program for the player, which means he will definitely be absent from the team's lineup in the upcoming match against Al-Hazm.
