أكد موقع «Foot Africa News» أن الاتحاد الإفريقي لكرة القدم «الكاف»، تقدم بطلب رسمي لقائد المنتخب السنغالي ولاعب نادي النصر «ساديو ماني»، لإعادة جائزة أفضل لاعب في البطولة، والتي فاز بها بعد المباراة النهائية، وتسليمها للاعب المغربي «براهيم دياز» بعد قرار سحب اللقب القاري من «السنغال» وتتويج المغرب بطلا للبطولة.
يذكر أن الاتحاد السنغالي لكرة القدم، سيطعن في قرار «الكاف» لدى محكمة التحكيم الرياضية، بعد مطالبته بفتح تحقيق موسع في قضايا فساد في الاتحاد القاري، بعد القرار الذي أصدره الثلاثاء الماضي بسحب اللقب من السنغال بالاستناد إلى المادتين 82 و84 من لوائح كأس أمم إفريقيا، ليتم اعتبار منتخب المغرب فائزا على السنغال بنتيجة 3-0 في المباراة النهائية وفق التقرير الذيي بثه موقع «RT»، وكانت المباراة النهائية بين السنغال والمغرب التي أقيمت في 18 يناير الماضي في الرباط، عرفت احتساب ركلة جزاء لصالح «أسود الأطلس» في الدقيقة الأخيرة، ليقرر منتخب السنغال الانسحاب من أرض الملعب، قبل أن يتراجع «أسود التيرانغا» لاحقا ويهدر دياز ركلة الجزاء، وتتجه المباراة إلى الأشواط الإضافية، التي شهدت تسجيل منتخب السنغال هدف تحقيق اللقب.
The website "Foot Africa News" confirmed that the African Football Confederation (CAF) has made an official request to the captain of the Senegalese national team and Al-Nassr player "Sadio Mane" to return the award for Best Player of the tournament, which he won after the final match, and to hand it over to the Moroccan player "Brahim Diaz" following the decision to strip the continental title from "Senegal" and crown Morocco as the champion of the tournament.
It is worth mentioning that the Senegalese Football Federation will appeal CAF's decision to the Court of Arbitration for Sport, after demanding a comprehensive investigation into corruption cases within the continental federation, following the decision issued last Tuesday to withdraw the title from Senegal based on Articles 82 and 84 of the Africa Cup of Nations regulations, which resulted in Morocco being considered the winner over Senegal with a score of 3-0 in the final match according to the report broadcasted by "RT". The final match between Senegal and Morocco, which took place on January 18 in Rabat, saw a penalty awarded to the "Atlas Lions" in the last minute, leading the Senegalese team to initially withdraw from the field, before the "Teranga Lions" later reconsidered and Diaz missed the penalty, sending the match into extra time, during which the Senegalese team scored the goal to clinch the title.
