جاء هدف السيتي الوحيد في الدقيقة 45+2، بعد تمريرة أرضية أرسلها الجزائري ريان آيت نوري من الجبهة اليسرى، قابلها الغاني أنطوان سيمينيو بتسديدة سهلة أمام خط المرمى لتسكن الكرة الشباك.

بهذه النتيجة، رفع مانشستر سيتي رصيده إلى 59 نقطة في المركز الثاني بجدول ترتيب البريميرليغ، مقلصاً الفارق مع أرسنال المتصدر إلى نقطتين فقط، قبل مواجهة «المدفعجية» الصعبة ضد تشيلسي اليوم (الأحد).
في المقابل، تجمد رصيد ليدز يونايتد عند 31 نقطة في المركز الخامس عشر، بعد تلقيه الهزيمة الحادية عشرة هذا الموسم.
Manchester City snatched a hard-fought victory from their hosts Leeds United with a single goal in the match that took place last night (Saturday) at Elland Road, as part of the 28th round of the Premier League.
The only goal for City came in the 45+2 minute, after a ground pass sent by Algerian Rayan Ait Nouri from the left flank, which was met by Ghanaian Antoine Semenyo with an easy shot in front of the goal line to find the back of the net.

With this result, Manchester City raised their tally to 59 points, sitting in second place in the Premier League table, narrowing the gap with leaders Arsenal to just two points, ahead of the Gunners' tough match against Chelsea today (Sunday).
On the other hand, Leeds United's points remained at 31, placing them in fifteenth position, after suffering their eleventh defeat of the season.
