Barcelona snatched a valuable victory from their German guest Eintracht Frankfurt with a score of two goals to one, in the match that took place last night (Tuesday) at the "Camp Nou" stadium, as part of the sixth round of the UEFA Champions League.

The victory came with a sense of revenge, as Frankfurt had previously eliminated Barcelona from the quarter-finals of the Europa League in the 2021-2022 season.

Turning the Tables in 3 Minutes

Eintracht Frankfurt opened the scoring in the 21st minute through a quick counterattack finished by Ansgar Knauff with a precise shot from inside the penalty area.

In the second half, Frenchman Jules Koundé restored balance to Barcelona in the 50th minute, after rising to meet a perfect cross from Marcus Rashford and heading it into the net.

Just three minutes later, Koundé continued his brilliance by adding the second goal in the same scenario, benefiting from an accurate cross from Lamine Yamal, amid a clear lack of defensive marking from Frankfurt's players.

With this result, Barcelona raised their points to 10, sitting in 14th place, while Eintracht Frankfurt's points remained at just four, in 30th place.
