نجح المهاجم السوري عمر السومة في مواصلة هز الشباك في مباريات دوري روشن السعودي، ليعزز موقعه في صدارة الهدافين التاريخيين للمسابقة منذ بدء نظام الاحتراف، إذ لا يزال يحافظ على حضوره التهديفي رغم وصوله إلى سن السادسة والثلاثين، ورفع رصيده إلى 156 هدفاً، ليبتعد بفارق 6 أهداف كاملة عن منافسه المباشر مهاجم فريق الشباب عبدالرزاق حمدالله صاحب الـ150 هدفاً.
واستطاع النجم عمر السومة تسجيل هدف في مرمى فريق الخلود في الجولة الماضية في دوري روشن والمساهمة في تحقيق الفوز بنتيجة 1/2 في لقاء «الديربي»، ليثبت أنه الرقم الأصعب في تاريخ الدوري السعودي، وأن تقدمه في العمر لم يمنعه من مواصلة المنافسة على أعلى مستوى، سواء في تسجيل الأهداف أو في تأثيره داخل الملعب.
