وخاض الأخضر خمس مباريات خلال البطولة، حقق خلالها خمسة انتصارات متتالية، ليحافظ على سجله المثالي منذ بداية المنافسات وحتى صافرة النهاية.
ونجح المنتخب السعودي في تسجيل ثمانية أهداف، مقابل عدم استقبال أي هدف طوال مشواره، ليخرج بشباك نظيفة في مبارياته الخمس، ويؤكد صلابته الدفاعية إلى جانب فاعليته الهجومية.
