تُوج حارس منتخب المغرب والهلال ياسين بونو بأفضل حارس مرمى في أفريقيا لعام 2025، وفقاً لجوائز الاتحاد الأفريقي لكرة القدم (CAF Awards)، بعد سباق مع مواطنه منير المحمدي حارس مرمى نهضة بركان، والجنوب أفريقي رونوين ويليامز قائد فريق صن داونز.
وتم تتويج بونو باللقب رسمياً خلال حفل التتويج الذي أقيم في الرباط أمس. ويأتي هذا التتويج بعد أداء استثنائي مع نادي الهلال والمنتخب المغربي، إذ ساهم في تحقيق العديد من الإنجازات. وتألق بونو في الموسم الماضي، وساهم في تأهل منتخب بلاده لكأس العالم 2026 بالولايات المتحدة الأمريكية وكندا والمكسيك، إضافة إلى صعود فريق الهلال لدور الثمانية بكأس العالم للأندية 2025، وظهر بونو في التشكيل المثالي للبطولة التي أقيمت في الصيف الماضي بالولايات المتحدة الأمريكية، في أول نسخة تقام بمشاركة 32 فريقاً.
واستطاع بونو أن يبقي شباكه نظيفة في 35 مباراة خلال 89 مباراة مع الهلال منذ انضمامه في 2023، وساهم في فوز الفريق بلقب دوري روشن، كما كان حاسماً في تأهل المغرب لكأس أمم أفريقيا 2025، وحصل على جائزة أفضل حارس في كأس العالم للأندية 2025، وكان ضمن أفضل 3 حراس عالمياً في تصنيف IFFHS لعام 2022 (واستمر تألقه في 2025). كما ترشح لجائزة ياشين تروبي (أفضل حارس عالمياً) في 2023، وهو أول أفريقي يصل إلى هذه الجائزة.
وتفاعلت الجماهير الهلالية والمغربية عبر منصة «X» بعد الإعلان عن فوز بونو بهذه الجائزة بتعليقات مثل: «بونو أفضل حارس في قارة أفريقيا.. يستاهل الكبير وديما بونو»، و«تاريخي يا بونو»، ما يعكس إجماعاً شعبياً على تفوقه.
The goalkeeper of the Moroccan national team and Al-Hilal, Yassine Bounou, was crowned the best goalkeeper in Africa for the year 2025, according to the Confederation of African Football (CAF Awards), after a competition with his compatriot Munir Mohamedi, the goalkeeper of RS Berkane, and South African Ronwen Williams, the captain of Sundowns.
Bounou was officially awarded the title during the ceremony held in Rabat yesterday. This accolade comes after an exceptional performance with Al-Hilal and the Moroccan national team, where he contributed to achieving numerous accomplishments. Bounou excelled last season and helped his country qualify for the 2026 World Cup in the United States, Canada, and Mexico, in addition to leading Al-Hilal to the quarter-finals of the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup, where he was featured in the tournament's best XI that took place last summer in the United States, in the first edition involving 32 teams.
Bounou managed to keep a clean sheet in 35 matches out of 89 games with Al-Hilal since joining in 2023, contributing to the team's victory in the Roshen League title, and was pivotal in Morocco's qualification for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations. He also won the Best Goalkeeper award at the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup and was among the top 3 goalkeepers worldwide in the IFFHS ranking for 2022 (continuing his excellence into 2025). He was nominated for the Yashin Trophy (Best Goalkeeper in the World) in 2023, being the first African to reach this award.
Al-Hilal and Moroccan fans reacted on the "X" platform after the announcement of Bounou's award with comments like: "Bounou is the best goalkeeper in Africa.. he deserves it, always Bounou," and "Historic, Bounou," reflecting a popular consensus on his superiority.
