حققت جامعة الباحة لقب بطولة الجامعات لكرة القدم المصغرة (طلاب) التي استضافتها جامعة جدة خلال الفترة من 11 ـ 15 نوفمبر الجاري، بتنظيم من الاتحاد السعودي للرياضة الجامعية في موسمه الـ16 لبطولاته، بمشاركة 330 طالباً مثلوا 19 جامعة وكلية.
وتوّج المساعد التنفيذي لرئيس الاتحاد السعودي للرياضة الجامعية علي المنيع، ووكيل جامعة جدة للشؤون الأكاديمية والتطوير الدكتور مناجي الكناني الجامعات الفائزة، حيث تسلم لاعبو فريق جامعة الباحة كأس البطولة والميداليات الذهبية بعد فوزهم في المباراة النهائية بنتيجة (3 ـ 2) على فريق جامعة الإمام عبدالرحمن بن فيصل، الذي حل ثانياً، ونال لاعبوه الميداليات الفضية. وجاءت جامعة الملك سعود بالمركز الثالث وحققت الميداليات البرونزية، كما تم تكريم المشاركين والحكام.
ونالت جامعة دار الحكمة لقب بطولة الاتحاد للريشة الطائرة (طالبات) التي استضافتها جامعة الأعمال والتكنولوجيا بجدة، بمشاركة 136 طالبة مثلن 26 جامعة وكلية.
وتوجت مديرة البطولة الدكتورة نوف الحماد الجامعات الفائزة بالمراكز الأولى، حيث نالت جامعة دار الحكمة كأس البطولة والميداليات الذهبية، وحصلت جامعة الملك عبد العزيز على المركز الثاني والميداليات الفضية، وثالثاً جامعة الأميرة نورة بنت عبد الرحمن التي حققت الميداليات البرونزية.
The University of Al-Baha achieved the title of the Mini Football Championship for universities (students) hosted by the University of Jeddah from November 11 to 15, organized by the Saudi Federation for University Sports in its 16th season of championships, with the participation of 330 students representing 19 universities and colleges.
The Executive Assistant to the President of the Saudi Federation for University Sports, Ali Al-Munai, and the Vice President of the University of Jeddah for Academic Affairs and Development, Dr. Manaji Al-Kanani, crowned the winning universities, where the players of the University of Al-Baha received the championship trophy and gold medals after their victory in the final match with a score of (3-2) against the team of Imam Abdulrahman bin Faisal University, which came in second place, with its players receiving silver medals. King Saud University came in third place and won bronze medals, and participants and referees were also honored.
Dar Al-Hekma University won the title of the Federation Badminton Championship (female students) hosted by the University of Business and Technology in Jeddah, with the participation of 136 female students representing 26 universities and colleges.
Dr. Nouf Al-Hammad, the tournament director, awarded the universities that won the top positions, where Dar Al-Hekma University received the championship trophy and gold medals, King Abdulaziz University secured second place and silver medals, and Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University achieved third place with bronze medals.
