توّج الأهلي بلقب بطولة كأس السوبر المصري لكرة اليد، بعد فوزه على نظيره فريق سموحة بنتيجة 26-22، في المباراة النهائية للمسابقة التي أقيمت على صالة «خليفة بن زايد» بمدينة العين بالإمارات.
وقدم فريق الأهلي عرضًا قويًا في الشوطين ليحسم المباراة لصالحه بفارق أربعة أهداف ليحصد لقب البطولة للمرة الثالثة على التوالي.
يُشار إلى أن الأهلي، تأهل لنهائي كأس السوبر المصري لكرة اليد بعد فوزه على فريق سبورتنج بنتيجة 29-22 في الدور نصف النهائي، فيما صعد سموحة إلى النهائي عقب تغلبه على الزمالك 29-28.
Al Ahly was crowned the champion of the Egyptian Handball Super Cup after defeating their counterpart Smouha with a score of 26-22 in the final match of the tournament held at the "Khalifa bin Zayed" hall in Al Ain, UAE.
Al Ahly's team delivered a strong performance in both halves, securing the victory by a margin of four goals to win the championship title for the third consecutive time.
It is worth noting that Al Ahly qualified for the final of the Egyptian Handball Super Cup after defeating Sporting with a score of 29-22 in the semifinals, while Smouha advanced to the final after overcoming Zamalek 29-28.
