تسببت خسارة الفريق الأول لكرة القدم بنادي القادسية، من نظيره التعاون (0-2) ضمن مباريات الجولة السابعة من دوري روشن السعودي، بموجة غضب لدى جماهير النادي التي حملت مسؤولية الخسارة للمدرب الإسباني ميشيل غونزاليس، وتواجه إدارة شركة نادي القادسية برئاسة بدر الرزيزاء، العديد من الضغوطات الجماهيرية من أجل إقالة المدرب الإسباني ميشيل خصوصا بعد خروج الفريق من كأس السوبر السعودي بعد خسارته بخماسية أمام نظيره الأهلي، إضافة إلى الخسارة التي تلقها الفريق القدساوي من فريق التعاون في معترك دوري روشن.
وشنت جماهير نادي القادسية بعد نهاية مباراة التعاون عبر مواقع التواصل الاجتماعي، هجوما لاذعا صوب مدرب الفريق الإسباني ميشيل بعد الهزيمة من فريق التعاون، وطالبت بإقالته من منصبه والتعاقد مع جهاز فني جديد لقيادة الفريق الأول لكرة القدم، خصوصا أن المدرب يمتلك العديد من الأسماء المميزة داخل الفريق التي باستطاعتها صنع الفارق.
وكانت إدارة نادي القادسية جددت في وقت سابق عقد المدرب الإسباني ميشيل غونزاليس، لمدة موسمين ليكمل مهماته كمدرب للفريق الأول لكرة القدم حتى 2027، خصوصا أن إدارة النادي لديها وجهة نظر أخرى صوب المدرب من ناحية الاستقرار وعدم الاستغناء عنه حتى في ظل تراجع مستوى الفريق، خصوصا أن لديها خطة طويلة المدى.
وكان مدرب فريق القادسية الإسباني ميشيل أكد بعد خسارة فريقه بمباراة التعاون أن النتيجة لم تكن مرضية بالنسبة لهم، وقال:«كنا مسيطرين على المباراة حتى سجل الخصم الهدف الأول، والفريق الخصم نجح في استغلال الفرصة، وسهّلنا الأمور عليهم»، وأضاف: «تحدثنا مع اللاعبين قبل المباراة عن ضرورة الدخول بتركيز عالٍ وعدم إعطاء المنافس فرصة للدخول في أجواء اللقاء، لكننا لم نُطبّق ذلك، فريق التعاون يمتلك إمكانيات كبيرة ومتخصص في استغلال الفرص عندما تتاح له، وقد استغل كل فرصة حصل عليها، وهذا الجانب لم نتمكن من التعامل معه بالتركيز المطلوب».

After the match against Al-Taawoun, Al-Qadsiah fans launched a fierce attack on the team's Spanish coach Michel via social media, demanding his dismissal from his position and the hiring of a new coaching staff to lead the first football team, especially since the coach has several talented players within the team who could make a difference.
Earlier, the management of Al-Qadsiah Club renewed the contract of Spanish coach Michel Gonzalez for two more seasons, allowing him to continue his duties as the head coach of the first football team until 2027. This decision comes as the club's management has a different perspective on the coach regarding stability and not letting him go, even amid the team's declining performance, especially since they have a long-term plan.
After his team's loss to Al-Taawoun, coach Michel emphasized that the result was not satisfactory for them, stating: "We were in control of the match until the opponent scored the first goal, and the opposing team succeeded in taking advantage of the opportunity, making things easier for them." He added: "We talked to the players before the match about the necessity of entering with high concentration and not giving the opponent a chance to get into the flow of the game, but we did not implement that. Al-Taawoun has great capabilities and is specialized in exploiting opportunities when they arise, and they took advantage of every opportunity they got. We were unable to handle that aspect with the required focus."
