حقق منتخب جامعة الإمام عبد الرحمن بن فيصل بطولة الاتحاد الرياضي للجامعات السعودية للسباحة (طلاب)، التي نظمها الاتحاد ضمن الموسم الـ16 لبطولاته واستضافتها جامعة الملك فيصل بالأحساء خلال الفترة (22 ـ 25) أكتوبر الجاري بمشاركة 198 سباحاً مثلوا 25 جامعة وكلية.
وتوج الفائزين في الحفل الختامي الذي أقيم في مسبح جامعة الملك فيصل المساعد التنفيذي لرئيس الاتحاد السعودي للرياضة الجامعية علي المنيع، وعميد شؤون الطلاب بجامعة الملك فيصل الدكتور محمد السبيعي، والرئيس التنفيذي للاتحاد السعودي للسباحة الدكتور زياد أبو الحمايل، ومدير البطولة مستشار الاتحاد السعودي للرياضة الجامعية الدكتور عبدالإله الصلوي، حيث نال سباحو جامعة الإمام عبدالرحمن كأس البطولة والميداليات الذهبية، وثانياً جامعة الملك عبدالعزيز ونال سباحوها الميداليات الفضية، وبالمركز الثالث جامعة الملك سعود التي نالت الميداليات البرونزية.
The Imam Abdul Rahman bin Faisal University team won the Saudi Universities Sports Federation Swimming Championship (Students), which was organized by the federation as part of its 16th season and hosted by King Faisal University in Al-Ahsa from October 22 to 25, with the participation of 198 swimmers representing 25 universities and colleges.
The winners were honored at the closing ceremony held at the King Faisal University pool by the Executive Assistant to the President of the Saudi University Sports Federation, Ali Al-Munai, the Dean of Student Affairs at King Faisal University, Dr. Mohammed Al-Subaie, the CEO of the Saudi Swimming Federation, Dr. Ziad Abu Al-Hamail, and the championship director, the advisor to the Saudi University Sports Federation, Dr. Abdulilah Al-Salawi. The swimmers from Imam Abdul Rahman University received the championship trophy and gold medals, while King Abdulaziz University came in second place, with its swimmers receiving silver medals, and King Saud University took third place, earning bronze medals.
