في لحظة وداع يغلب عليها الامتنان ودع زملاء تعليم جدة المشرف التربوي عقيل بن هاشم الزبيدي بمناسبة تقاعده، بعد مسيرة مهنية امتدت لسنوات طويلة، حملت في تفاصيلها صدق العطاء وهدوء الإنجاز وعمق الأثر. لم يكن التقاعد هنا نهاية حضور بل تتويج لمسار حافل صنع فيه الزبيدي فرقاً حقيقياً في الإشراف التربوي وفي مجال الإحصاء والبيانات والعمل القيادي الذي أوكل إليه طيلة 23 عاماً من العمل بدءاً من معلم مميز ومروراً بالإشراف والمناصب القيادية التي كان آخرها مساعداً لمدير مكتب التعليم بالفيحاء.

عرف الزبيدي بوصفه مهندس الإحصاء والبيانات القادر على قراءة الأرقام بعين تربوية واعية وتحويلها إلى أدوات فاعلة في دعم القرار وتجويده.
زملاؤه أجمعوا على أن حضوره الإنساني سبق حضوره الوظيفي. كان قريباً من الجميع، هادئاً في طرحه متزناً في رأيه كريماً في عطائه المعرفي. تعلموا منه كيف يكون العمل رسالة وكيف تُدار التفاصيل بعقل منظم وقلب حاضر. جمع القلوب قبل أن ينجز المهمات وجعل من بيئة العمل مساحة احترام وتعاون وثقة.
وفي كلماتهم الوداعية أكد الزملاء أن وداع عقيل الزبيدي لا يعني غيابه بل يرسخ حضوره بما تركه من أثر جميل وسيرة طيبة. قالوا إن العمل معه كان ممتعاً والرفقة إضافة للحياة قبل أن تكون إضافة للمهمة، وإن حكمته ولطفه سيظلان حاضرين في الذاكرة اليومية للمكان.
تقاعده اليوم هو نهاية مرحلة وظيفية، لا نهاية للأثر. هو انتقال هادئ إلى مساحة أوسع من الطمأنينة، بعد سنوات من العمل الصادق والبذل الذي لا ينتظر مقابلاً. ويغادر الزبيدي موقعه وقد ترك خلفه احتراماً عميقاً، وذكرى طيبة، وأثراً مهنياً وإنسانياً سيظل حاضراً.
عقيل بن هاشم الزبيدي، حاصل على بكالوريوس العلوم التطبيقية تخصص فيزياء من جامعة أم القرى، وماجستير في الإدارة التربوية من جامعة الملك عبدالعزيز. بدأ مسيرته معلماً للفيزياء، ثم مشرفاً تربوياً، وتقلد عدداً من المواقع القيادية والإشرافية في تعليم جدة، من بينها مدير وحدة الإشراف التربوي، ومدير مركز التدريب التربوي، ورئيس شعبة العلوم، ورئيس ومقرر لعدد من اللجان التعليمية، إضافة إلى عمله مشرفاً تنفيذياً ونائباً لرئيس اللجنة التنفيذية بمكتب تعليم الفيحاء.
شارك في برامج وطنية ودولية، وأعمال تطوير الأداء، وبناء المؤشرات، والاختبارات المركزية، وأسهم في التدريب وبناء القدرات، وله رصيد واسع من المبادرات والإنجازات المهنية التي شكّلت أثراً بارزاً في الميدان التعليمي.

In a farewell moment filled with gratitude, the colleagues of Jeddah Education bid farewell to the educational supervisor Aqeel bin Hashim Al-Zubaidi on the occasion of his retirement, after a long professional journey that carried within its details the sincerity of giving, the calmness of achievement, and the depth of impact. Retirement here was not the end of his presence but a crowning of a rich path in which Al-Zubaidi made a real difference in educational supervision, statistics, data, and the leadership work entrusted to him over 23 years, starting as an outstanding teacher and moving through supervision and leadership positions, the last of which was as the Assistant Director of the Al-Faiha Education Office.

Al-Zubaidi was known as the engineer of statistics and data, capable of reading numbers with a conscious educational eye and transforming them into effective tools for decision support and quality improvement.
His colleagues unanimously agreed that his human presence preceded his professional presence. He was close to everyone, calm in his approach, balanced in his opinions, and generous in his knowledge contributions. They learned from him how work can be a message and how details can be managed with an organized mind and a present heart. He gathered hearts before accomplishing tasks and made the work environment a space of respect, cooperation, and trust.
In their farewell words, colleagues emphasized that bidding farewell to Aqeel Al-Zubaidi does not mean his absence but rather reinforces his presence through the beautiful impact and good reputation he left behind. They said that working with him was enjoyable, and his companionship was an addition to life before being an addition to the task, and that his wisdom and kindness will remain present in the daily memory of the place.
His retirement today marks the end of a professional phase, not the end of the impact. It is a calm transition to a broader space of reassurance, after years of sincere work and giving that does not expect a return. Al-Zubaidi leaves his position having left behind deep respect, a good memory, and a professional and human impact that will remain present.
Aqeel bin Hashim Al-Zubaidi holds a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Sciences with a specialization in Physics from Umm Al-Qura University and a Master’s degree in Educational Administration from King Abdulaziz University. He began his career as a physics teacher, then as an educational supervisor, and held several leadership and supervisory positions in Jeddah Education, including Director of the Educational Supervision Unit, Director of the Educational Training Center, Head of the Science Department, and Chair and Rapporteur of several educational committees, in addition to his role as an Executive Supervisor and Deputy Chairman of the Executive Committee at the Al-Faiha Education Office.
He participated in national and international programs, performance development activities, building indicators, central assessments, and contributed to training and capacity building, and he has a wide portfolio of initiatives and professional achievements that have made a significant impact in the educational field.
