فيما تتواصل ردود الفعل حول الفيلم المصري «الست» والجدل الدائر حوله، فنّد رئيس مجلس إدارة الهيئة العامة للترفيه تركي آل الشيخ حقيقة ما يُتداول من ادعاءات عن علاقته بإنتاج الفيلم.
وأصدر رئيس هيئة الترفيه توضيحاً عبر حسابه في منصة فيسبوك لوضع ما أُثير أخيراً حول الفيلم في إطاره الصحيح، والرد على تداول معلومات غير دقيقة في بعض وسائل الإعلام والحسابات المصرية حول علاقة موسم الرياض بإنتاج الفيلم أو إخراجه.
وأكد آل الشيخ أن ما يتم تداوله لا يستند إلى حقائق موثوقة، موضحاً أن دور موسم الرياض لا يتجاوز نطاق الرعاية، وجاء بعد اكتمال إنتاج الفيلم بالكامل، دون أي تدخل في تفاصيله الفنية أو الإدارية، أو في مسارات الإعداد والتنفيذ.

بيان توضيحي
وقال رئيس هيئة الترفيه تركي آل الشيخ في بيانه: «إشارة إلى ما يتم تداوله في بعض وسائل الإعلام والحسابات حول إنتاج وإخراج وإعداد فيلم «الست»، أود توضيح الآتي:
لا صحة لما يُشاع عن أي دور لموسم الرياض في إنتاج أو إخراج أو إعداد الفيلم.
دور موسم الرياض اقتصر على الرعاية فقط، وجاء ذلك بعد الانتهاء من إنتاج الفيلم، دون أي تدخل في تفاصيله الفنية أو الإدارية.
الفيلم حاصل على التراخيص الرسمية من الرقابة في جمهورية مصر العربية، وأي ملاحظات أو إشكالات رقابية -إن وُجدت- هي من اختصاص الجهات المختصة في مصر.
الفيلم إنتاج مصري بالكامل بنسبة 100%، حيث تم العمل عليه من خلال شركات إنتاج مصرية.
لا توجد لي شخصياً، ولا لموسم الرياض، أي علاقة مباشرة بهذا العمل من حيث الإنتاج أو الإعداد أو التنفيذ.
الزج باسمي أو باسم موسم الرياض على أنهما جزء من صناعة الفيلم أمر غير دقيق ولا يستند إلى معلومات صحيحة.
المخرج، الكاتب، أبطال الفيلم، والشركة المنتجة جميعهم مصريون.
موسم الرياض أول من كرم الفنانة القديرة أم كلثوم، وهذا موضع تقدير واحترام، لكنه لا يعني الارتباط بإنتاج هذا الفيلم».
التمييز المهني
وشدد آل الشيخ في ختام توضيحه على أهمية التمييز المهني بين مفهوم الرعاية والدور الإنتاجي الفعلي، مؤكداً أن هذا الإيضاح يأتي حرصاً على الدقة، واحتراماً للجمهور، ولصناعة السينما، وللأطراف المعنية كافة، ووضع الأمور في سياقها الصحيح بعيداً عن أي خلط أو تأويل غير مبني على معلومات موثقة.
As reactions continue regarding the Egyptian film "The Lady" and the ongoing controversy surrounding it, the Chairman of the General Entertainment Authority, Turki Al Sheikh, has refuted the claims circulating about his relationship with the film's production.
The Chairman of the Entertainment Authority issued a clarification via his Facebook account to place the recent discussions about the film in their proper context and to respond to the dissemination of inaccurate information in some media outlets and Egyptian accounts regarding the relationship between the Riyadh Season and the film's production or direction.
Al Sheikh confirmed that what is being circulated is not based on reliable facts, explaining that the role of the Riyadh Season is limited to sponsorship only, and came after the film's production was completed, without any interference in its artistic or administrative details, or in the preparation and execution processes.

In his statement, the Chairman of the Entertainment Authority, Turki Al Sheikh, said: "In reference to what is being circulated in some media and accounts regarding the production, direction, and preparation of the film 'The Lady', I would like to clarify the following:
There is no truth to the rumors about any role of the Riyadh Season in the production, direction, or preparation of the film.
The role of the Riyadh Season was limited to sponsorship only, and this came after the film was completed, without any interference in its artistic or administrative details.
The film has obtained the official licenses from the censorship authorities in the Arab Republic of Egypt, and any observations or censorship issues—if they exist—are the responsibility of the relevant authorities in Egypt.
The film is 100% Egyptian production, as it was worked on through Egyptian production companies.
I personally have no direct relationship with this work, nor does the Riyadh Season, in terms of production, preparation, or execution.
Using my name or the name of the Riyadh Season as part of the film's production is inaccurate and not based on correct information.
The director, writer, film stars, and the production company are all Egyptians.
The Riyadh Season was the first to honor the esteemed artist Umm Kulthum, which is a matter of appreciation and respect, but it does not mean a connection to the production of this film."
Professional Distinction
Al Sheikh emphasized at the end of his clarification the importance of professional distinction between the concept of sponsorship and the actual production role, confirming that this clarification comes out of a commitment to accuracy, respect for the audience, the film industry, and all concerned parties, and to place matters in their correct context away from any confusion or misinterpretation not based on documented information.
