تصدر الفنان المصري فادي خفاجة عناوين الصحف ومواقع التواصل؛ بعد أن قدم اعتذارًا رسميًا لكل من الفنانة مها أحمد وزوجها الفنان مجدي كامل، إثر الحكم الصادر ضده بالسجن لمدة 6 أشهر في قضية اتهامه بالسب والقذف والتجريح.
وفي مقطع فيديو نشره عبر حسابه على «فيسبوك»، أوضح خفاجة أنه مرّ بفترة صعبة مليئة بالأزمات الشخصية التي أدت إلى تصرفاته الخاطئة، مؤكداً أنه لم يكن في حالته الطبيعية حين وقع في الخلافات مع بعض أصدقائه ومعارفه، ومن بينهم مها أحمد ومجدي كامل، اللذين وصفهما بأنهما من أساتذته وتعلم منهما الكثير. وختم الفنان الشاب حديثه بطلب الصفح والمسامحة من الثنائي الشهير.
وتعود الأزمة إلى عامين منصرمين، حين اشتبك خفاجة مع مها أحمد وزوجها خلال بث مباشر على تطبيق تيك توك، ووجه لهما بعض الشتائم، ما دفعهما للتحرك قضائيًا ورفعا 4 قضايا ضده بتهمة السب والقذف والتشهير والتجريح. ورغم محاولاته المتكررة للصلح، بما في ذلك تدخل أعضاء من نقابة المهن التمثيلية، لم تنجح تلك المساعي حتى صدور حكم السجن والغرامة.
وكشفت مصادر مقربة أن الحكم القضائي جاء بعد مطالب دفاع مجدي كامل بتعويض مدني قدره 100 ألف جنيه، مشيرًا إلى أن ما صدر عن خفاجة تسبب في أضرار نفسية ومعنوية جسيمة لموكله، كما التمس توقيع أقصى العقوبة.

The Egyptian artist Fadi Khafaja has made headlines in newspapers and social media after he issued an official apology to the artist Maha Ahmed and her husband, the artist Magdy Kamel, following a court ruling against him sentencing him to 6 months in prison for charges of defamation and slander.
In a video he posted on his Facebook account, Khafaja explained that he went through a difficult period filled with personal crises that led to his wrong actions, affirming that he was not in his normal state when he fell into disputes with some of his friends and acquaintances, including Maha Ahmed and Magdy Kamel, whom he described as his mentors from whom he learned a lot. The young artist concluded his talk by asking for forgiveness from the famous couple.
The crisis dates back to two years ago when Khafaja clashed with Maha Ahmed and her husband during a live broadcast on TikTok, where he directed some insults at them, prompting them to take legal action and file 4 lawsuits against him for defamation, slander, and insult. Despite his repeated attempts at reconciliation, including the intervention of members from the Actors' Syndicate, those efforts were unsuccessful until the prison sentence and fine were issued.
Close sources revealed that the court ruling came after Magdy Kamel's defense demanded a civil compensation of 100,000 Egyptian pounds, indicating that what Khafaja said caused severe psychological and moral harm to his client, and he requested the maximum penalty to be imposed.
