أحبطت قوات الأمن في مدينة سان بيدرو بولاية نويفو ليون شمالي المكسيك محاولة سرقة من متجر شهير، بعد رصد تحركات مريبة داخل المتجر قادت إلى كشف الواقعة. وقدّرت قيمة المسروقات بنحو 10 آلاف بيزو مكسيكي، في حادثة أثارت تفاعلاً واسعاً عقب تداول مقاطع مصوّرة توثق أسلوب السرقة المستخدم، مسلّطة الضوء على يقظة أفراد الأمن ودور المراقبة في إحباط مثل هذه المحاولات.
وإثر ذلك، استدعى أمن المتجر الشرطة البلدية في سان بيدرو، التي حضرت إلى المكان وأكدت الواقعة، قبل أن تقوم بتوقيف المرأتين، وهما سوسانا (52 عاماً) ولورديز (51 عاماً).
وتم نقل الموقوفتين إلى النيابة العامة، حيث وُضعتا رهن التحقيق لتحديد وضعهما القانوني بتهمة السرقة من محل تجاري.
وأوضحت السلطات أن عدد القطع التي حاولت المتهمتان سرقتها بلغ 21 قطعة ملابس، بقيمة إجمالية وصلت إلى 10 آلاف و159 بيزو مكسيكي.
Security forces in the city of San Pedro, Nuevo León, northern Mexico, thwarted an attempted theft from a popular store after suspicious movements inside the store led to the discovery of the incident. The value of the stolen goods was estimated at around 10,000 Mexican pesos, in an incident that sparked widespread reactions following the circulation of video clips documenting the method of theft used, highlighting the vigilance of security personnel and the role of surveillance in thwarting such attempts.
Following this, the store's security called the municipal police in San Pedro, who arrived at the scene and confirmed the incident before arresting the two women, Susana (52 years old) and Lourdes (51 years old).
The arrested women were transferred to the public prosecutor's office, where they were placed under investigation to determine their legal status on charges of theft from a commercial establishment.
The authorities clarified that the number of items the accused attempted to steal amounted to 21 pieces of clothing, with a total value reaching 10,159 Mexican pesos.
