علمت «عكاظ» من مصادرها أن قائد المنتخب السعودي ونادي الهلال سالم الدوسري الأقرب للتتويج بجائزة أفضل لاعب آسيوي للمرة الثانية في تاريخه، وسط منافسة من الثنائي القطري أكرم عفيف، والماليزي عارف أيمن.
وكانت «عكاظ» في الأول من يوليو الماضي انفردت بترشح الدوسري لجائزة أفضل لاعب في قارة آسيا.
ويأتي اقتراب النجم سالم الدوسري من التتويج بجائزة أفضل لاعب آسيوي للمرة الثانية، عقب تتويجه بلقب هداف دوري أبطال نخبة آسيا 2024/ 2025 برصيد 10 أهداف، وحصوله على جائزة أفضل لاعب محلي في دوري روشن السعودي للمحترفين الموسم الماضي، وحصد جائزة أفضل لاعب في مباراة الهلال وباتشوكا المكسيكي في كأس العالم للأندية 2025، ومشاركته مع المنتخب السعودي من بداية مباريات تصفيات قارة آسيا، المؤهلة لكأس العالم 2026 في (الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية، والمكسيك، وكندا).
وسيستضيف الاتحاد السعودي لكرة القدم النسخة الـ29 من الحفل السنوي لجوائز الاتحاد الآسيوي لكرة القدم لعام 2025 في العاصمة الرياض الخميس 16 أكتوبر الجاري، لينضم هذا الحدث لسلسلة الفعاليات الرياضية الكبرى التي تحتضنها المملكة، ويقام الحفل الذي تستضيفه الرياض لأول مرة في مركز الملك فهد الثقافي للمؤتمرات، إذ سيتم تكريم 20 فائزاً في فئات متنوعة، تشمل أفضل اتحاد، أفضل لاعب، أفضل مدرب، إضافة إلى جوائز فردية وجماعية تحتفي بإنجازات أبرز نجوم اللعبة ومسؤوليها في القارة.
وكان الاتحاد الآسيوي لكرة القدم أعلن في 25 سبتمبر الماضي القائمة النهائية للمرشحين لجائزة الاتحادات الأهلية، التي ضمت ترشح الاتحاد السعودي لكرة القدم لجائزة أفضل اتحاد آسيوي، إلى جانب اتحادي إيران واليابان، إضافة لجائزة رئيس الاتحاد الآسيوي للواعدين، واللاعبين المرشحين لجوائز أفضل لاعب في آسيا وأفضل لاعب شاب، التي ضمت قائد المنتخب السعودي ونادي الهلال سالم الدوسري، وحارس المنتخب السعودي ونادي الاتحاد حامد يوسف.
وسيسبق حفل الجوائز إقامة مؤتمر مؤسسة «حلم آسيا» بنسخته الأولى يوم الأربعاء 15 أكتوبر الجاري الذي يستعرض مبادرات الاتحادات الآسيوية في دعم المجتمعات وتعزيز القيم الرياضية، تأكيداً على التزامها بمبادئ المسؤولية الاجتماعية.
كما يشهد برنامج الاستضافة اجتماعاً لأعضاء وأمناء الاتحاد الآسيوي خلال الفترة من الجمعة 17 إلى الأحد 19 أكتوبر الجاري، لمناقشة أبرز المواضيع المتعلقة باستراتيجيات كرة القدم وتطويرها.

The ceremony, which will be held in Riyadh for the first time at the King Fahd Cultural Center for Conferences, will honor 20 winners in various categories, including Best Federation, Best Player, Best Coach, in addition to individual and collective awards celebrating the achievements of the most prominent stars of the game and its officials in the continent.
The Asian Football Confederation announced on September 25 the final list of nominees for the National Federations Award, which included the nomination of the Saudi Arabian Football Federation for the Best Asian Federation award, alongside the federations of Iran and Japan, in addition to the AFC President's Award for Youth, and players nominated for the Best Player in Asia and Best Young Player awards, which included the captain of the Saudi national team and Al-Hilal, Salem Al-Dosari, and the goalkeeper of the Saudi national team and Al-Ittihad, Hamid Youssef.
Prior to the awards ceremony, the first edition of the "Dream Asia" Foundation conference will be held on Wednesday, October 15, which will showcase the initiatives of Asian federations in supporting communities and promoting sports values, affirming their commitment to the principles of social responsibility.
