انضم اللاعب السعودي خالد الجرافي إلى نادي إشبيلية الإسباني (الفريق الرديف«D»)، بهدف الحصول على فرصة اللعب وتطويرموهبته الكروية في الملاعب الأوروبية.
وخالد الجرافي صاحب أدوار متعددة في خط الوسط، إذ يستطيع اللعب في مركز الارتكاز أو صناعة اللعب أو الوسط الهجومي، ويتميز بقدراته الفنية على قراءة الملعب، ويجيد صناعة التمريرات الحاسمة، إلى جانب تحركاته المتأخرة داخل منطقة الخصوم.
والتحق خالد بشقيقه عبدالله الجرافي رسمياً بنادي إشبيلية الإسباني بالفريق الرديف (D)، حيث يلعب شقيقه في مركز الجناح الأيسر، وكانت له تجربة فريدة بكرة القدم الجامعية بالولايات المتحدة الأمريكية، بالإضافة إلى لعبه مع المنتخب السعودي تحت 23 سنة، واللاعبان عبدالله وخالد الجرافي أحفاد الفنان الدكتور عبدالرب إدريس،
وساهم النجم الاتحادي السابق سامي شاس في كافة الترتيبات المتعلقة بانضمام اللاعب خالد الجرافي لنادي إشبيلية عن طريق وكيل الأعمال الإسباني ماريو.

Saudi player Khaled Al-Jarafi has joined the Spanish club Sevilla (the reserve team "D") with the aim of gaining playing opportunities and developing his football talent on European pitches.
Khaled Al-Jarafi has multiple roles in midfield, as he can play as a defensive midfielder, a playmaker, or an attacking midfielder. He is distinguished by his technical abilities to read the game and excels at making decisive passes, along with his late movements inside the opponent's area.
Khaled officially joined his brother Abdullah Al-Jarafi at Sevilla in the reserve team (D), where his brother plays as a left winger. Abdullah had a unique experience in college football in the United States, in addition to playing with the Saudi national team under 23 years old. The two players, Abdullah and Khaled Al-Jarafi, are the grandsons of the artist Dr. Abdulrab Idris.
Former Ittihad star Sami Shas contributed to all arrangements related to Khaled Al-Jarafi's joining Sevilla through the Spanish agent Mario.
