أثارت تقارير صحفية صدرت أمس (السبت) حالة من الجدل الواسع في الأوساط الرياضية، بعدما ألمحت إلى سيناريو صادم قد يغيّر ملامح بطولة كأس العالم 2026، والمتمثل في احتمال استبعاد منتخب الأرجنتين من المنافسات.
هذا الحديث، الذي يأتي قبل انطلاق الحدث العالمي المنتظر في الولايات المتحدة وكندا والمكسيك، فتح باب التساؤلات حول أسبابه وتداعياته، لا سيما أن المنتخب الأرجنتيني يُعد من أبرز المرشحين دائماً للمنافسة على اللقب، ويحظى بمتابعة جماهيرية هائلة حول العالم.
ووفقاً لصحيفة «لا ناسيون» الأرجنتينية فإن منتخب الأرجنتين مُهدد بالاستبعاد من كأس العالم من المجموعة العاشرة التي أوقعته القرعة فيها مع الجزائر والنمسا والأردن؛ بسبب شبهة فساد.
وأفادت وسائل الإعلام الأرجنتينية أن القضية انكشفت يوم الثلاثاء الماضي عقب نحو 30 مداهمة استهدفت عدة أندية ومقر الاتحاد الأرجنتيني لكرة القدم، في إطار تحقيق واسع النطاق في شبهات «غسيل أموال».
وبينما يُتوقع المزيد من المداهمات في الأيام القادمة، يُشتبه في أن العديد من مسؤولي الاتحاد قد جمعوا ثروات طائلة، بدءاً من رئيس الاتحاد الأرجنتيني لكرة القدم، كلاوديو «تشيكي» تابيا، ومساعده المقرب بابلو توفيجينو، ونائب أمين صندوق الاتحاد، لوتشيانو ناكيس.

وأوضحت صحيفة «لا ناسيون» أنه يكمن الحل في المحاكم، فالسياسة لا تترك مجالاً كبيراً للمناورة، لهذا السبب، يقع على عاتق النظام القضائي تحديد ما إذا كان هؤلاء الأشخاص مذنبين أم أبرياء، وما إذا كانوا يستحقون الاحتفاظ بمناصبهم أم يجب فصلهم.
واختتمت أن الفيفا - الذي لا يُرحب بتدخل الحكومة في شؤون الاتحادات الوطنية - قد يستبعد منتخب ليونيل ميسي من كأس العالم القادمة.

According to the Argentine newspaper "La Nación," the Argentina national team is threatened with exclusion from the World Cup from Group 10, where the draw placed it alongside Algeria, Austria, and Jordan, due to allegations of corruption.
Argentine media reported that the case was uncovered last Tuesday following about 30 raids targeting several clubs and the headquarters of the Argentine Football Association, as part of a wide-ranging investigation into allegations of "money laundering."
While more raids are expected in the coming days, it is suspected that many officials of the federation have amassed vast fortunes, starting with the president of the Argentine Football Association, Claudio "Chiqui" Tapia, his close aide Pablo Toviggino, and the federation's treasurer, Luciano Nakis.

"La Nación" clarified that the solution lies in the courts, as politics does not leave much room for maneuvering; for this reason, it is up to the judiciary to determine whether these individuals are guilty or innocent, and whether they deserve to keep their positions or should be dismissed.
It concluded that FIFA - which does not welcome government interference in the affairs of national federations - may exclude Lionel Messi's team from the upcoming World Cup.
