واصل منتخب إسبانيا تألقه في التصفيات الأوروبية المؤهلة لكأس العالم 2026 بفوزه على ضيفه منتخب جورجيا بثنائية نظيفة، كما انتصر منتخب تركيا على مضيفه بلغاريا بنتيجة 6/ 1، ضمن لقاءات الجولة الثالثة للمجموعة الخامسة.
على ملعب مانويل مارتينيز فاليرو في مدينة التشي الإسبانية، حافظ منتخب إسبانيا على سجله المثالي بتحقيقه فوزه الثالث في التصفيات بعد تفوقه على ضيفه منتخب جورجيا بهدفين دون مقابل، وافتتح لاعبو المدرب لويس دي لا فوينتي التسجيل بهدف يريمي بينو الرائع (د:24)، وكان من المفترض أن يتضاعف الفارق بعد لحظات، لكن جيورجي مامارداشفيلي تألق في صد ركلة جزاء سددها فيران توريس. وفي الشوط الثاني، سدد بيدرو بورو وميكيل أويارزابال في القائمين بفارق ثوانٍ معدودة، قبل أن يُكمل الأخير التسجيل بتسديدة صاروخية (د:62).
وفي المواجهة الثانية للمجموعة ذاتها، استعاد المنتخب التركي توازنه بعد الهزيمة الثقيلة 6-0 أمام إسبانيا الشهر الماضي، وفاز على بلغاريا بأسلوب مميز. وتقدمت تركيا عن طريق أردا غولر، وأدرك أصحاب الأرض التعادل بتسديدة رادوسلاف كيريلوف.
وتحولت مجريات المباراة في وقت مبكر من الشوط الثاني، إذ سجل المدافع البلغاري فيكتور بوبوف هدفاً في مرماه وهو تحت ضغط من نجم يوفنتوس كينان يلديز، قبل أن يسجل الأخير هدفين متتاليين، وأحرز زكي جيليك الهدف الخامس، قبل أن يختتم البديل كاهفيتشي الأهداف لصالح المنتخب التركي.
وبهاتين النتيجتين يصل منتخب إسبانيا للفوز الثالث ويتصدر المجموعة بـ9 نقاط، ويليه منتخب تركيا بانتصارين محققاً 6 نقاط، ثم جورجيا ثالثاً بثلاث نقاط، وأخيراً بلغاريا دون نقاط.
