وبهذه النتيجة يصل منتخب الرأس الأخضر للنقطة 20 متصدراً المجموعة الرابعة بفارق نقطتين عن المنتخب الكاميروني، ويحتاج منتخب الرأس الأخضر للفوز في اللقاء القادم الذي سيقام على أرضه أمام منتخب إسواتيني في مباراته الأخيرة يوم الإثنين لحسم التأهل رسمياً لمونديال 2026.
