احتل منتخب أوكرانيا صدارة المجموعة الثانية بعدما تفوّق على باراغواي 2/ 1 ليتأهلا سوياً لثمن نهائي كأس العالم تحت 20 عاماً، بينما حلّت كوريا الجنوبية في المركز الثالث عقب فوزها على بنما 2-1، لتبقى آمالها معلّقة بانتظار تحديد أفضل أربعة منتخبات تحتل المركز الثالث.
أنعش منتخب كوريا الجنوبية آماله في التأهل إلى الدور ثمن النهائي، بعدما حقق فوزًا ثمينًا على بنما 2-1 في الجولة الثالثة من منافسات المجموعة الثانية، وسيطر الكوريون على المباراة منذ البداية، وافتتحوا التسجيل عبر كيم هيونمين بتسديدة رائعة سكنت الزاوية اليمنى العليا لحارس بنما سيسيلّو بورغيس، وفي الشوط الثاني، عادل بنما النتيجة بعدما أرسل كايرو والترز تمريرة عرضية مهدها لزميله كيفن والدر الذي وضع الكرة بسهولة في الشباك، مانحًا فريقه هدف التعادل، لكن رد كوريا الجنوبية جاء سريعًا، حين تمكن شين مينها من تسجيل هدف الفوز برأسية أكروباتية رائعة إثر ركنية نفذها سون سيونغمين، ليمنح فريقه ثلاث نقاط ثمينة أبقت حظوظه في التأهل، فيما ودّعت بنما البطولة رسميًا.
وفي اللقاء الآخر، حسم منتخب أوكرانيا صدارة المجموعة الثانية، بعد فوزه المتأخر على باراغواي بنتيجة 2-1، في لقاء مثير شهد أهدافًا في الشوط الثاني فقط، وبعد شوط أول باهت، لم ينتظر الأوكرانيون سوى 29 ثانية من انطلاق الشوط الثاني لافتتاح التسجيل، حين مرر دانييلو كريفسون كرة متقنة إلى البديل ماكسيم ديركاتش الذي وضعها مباشرة في الشباك، وردت باراغواي سريعًا عبر سيزار ميكو الذي أطلق تسديدة قوية من داخل المنطقة اصطدمت بأحد المدافعين وغيرت اتجاهها لتعانق الشباك.
لكن أوكرانيا استعادت التقدم قبل النهاية، عندما خطف ماتفي بونومارينكو الكرة في منتصف ملعب الخصم، وتوغل بها ليطلق تسديدة صاروخية استقرت في الزاوية اليسرى السفلية، مانحًا فريقه ثلاث نقاط ثمينة.
ورغم الخسارة، ضمن منتخب باراغواي العبور إلى الدور ثمن النهائي في المركز الثاني، متقدمًا على كوريا الجنوبية بفارق عدد الأهداف المسجلة.

The Ukrainian national team topped Group B after defeating Paraguay 2-1, allowing both teams to advance to the Round of 16 in the Under-20 World Cup, while South Korea finished in third place after their 2-1 victory over Panama, keeping their hopes alive as they awaited the determination of the best four third-placed teams.
South Korea revived its hopes of qualifying for the Round of 16 after securing a valuable 2-1 win over Panama in the third round of Group B matches. The Koreans dominated the match from the start, opening the scoring through Kim Hyun-min with a stunning shot that found the top right corner of Panama's goalkeeper Cecilio Burgess. In the second half, Panama equalized when Cairo Walters sent a cross that was set up for his teammate Kevin Walder, who easily placed the ball into the net, giving his team the equalizer. However, South Korea responded quickly, as Shin Min-ha managed to score the winning goal with a spectacular acrobatic header following a corner taken by Son Seung-min, granting his team three precious points that kept their qualification hopes alive, while Panama officially exited the tournament.
In the other match, Ukraine secured the top spot in Group B after a late 2-1 victory over Paraguay in an exciting game that saw all the goals scored in the second half. After a lackluster first half, the Ukrainians needed only 29 seconds into the second half to open the scoring when Daniil Kryvtsov delivered a precise ball to substitute Maksym Derkach, who placed it directly into the net. Paraguay quickly responded through Cesar Miko, who unleashed a powerful shot from inside the area that deflected off a defender and changed direction to find the back of the net.
But Ukraine regained the lead before the end when Matviy Ponomarenko intercepted the ball in the middle of the opponent's half, made a penetrating run, and unleashed a rocket shot that settled in the bottom left corner, giving his team three valuable points.
Despite the loss, Paraguay secured their passage to the Round of 16 in second place, ahead of South Korea on goal difference.
