أبدى اينيغو مارتينيز مدافع فريق النصر، تمنيه فوز زميله السابق في برشلونة لامين يامال بالكرة الذهبية على حساب عثمان ديمبيلي، مؤكداً أن الموهبة الإسبانية ستعود بقوة في العام المقبل.
وخلال تصريحات له، قال مارتينيز: «الخيار كان بين لامين وديمبيلي، لكن كنت أعلم أن الأخير سيفوز بعد التتويج بدوري الأبطال، وهو عامل حاسم. ومع ذلك، يامال بعمر 18 عاماً جاء ثانياً، وهذا بحد ذاته يعد إنجازاً مذهلاً».
وأضاف: «هو لاعب استثنائي داخل وخارج الملعب وسيكون ضمن المنافسة قريباً».
ويستعد يامال للعودة أمام ريال سوسييداد بعد تعافيه من إصابة عضلية.
وشارك مارتينيز مع فريقه النصر في مواجهة الأمس أمام الاتحاد، وكان أحد الأسباب الرئيسية في الانتصار الكبير الذي حققه النصر بنتيجة (2-0).
Inigo Martinez, the defender for Al-Nassr, expressed his wish for his former Barcelona teammate Lamine Yamal to win the Ballon d'Or over Ousmane Dembélé, confirming that the Spanish talent will make a strong comeback next year.
During his statements, Martinez said: "The choice was between Lamine and Dembélé, but I knew that the latter would win after being crowned in the Champions League, which is a decisive factor. However, Yamal, at 18 years old, came in second, and that in itself is an amazing achievement."
He added: "He is an exceptional player both on and off the pitch and will be in the competition soon."
Yamal is preparing to return against Real Sociedad after recovering from a muscle injury.
Martinez participated with his team Al-Nassr in yesterday's match against Al-Ittihad and was one of the main reasons for the significant victory achieved by Al-Nassr with a score of (2-0).
