أعلن نادي بشكتاش التركي إقالة مدربه النرويجي أولي غونار سولشاير، بعد مرور ثمانية أشهر فقط على توليه القيادة الفنية للفريق.
وأوضح النادي في بيان نُشر عبر موقعه الإلكتروني أن مجلس الإدارة قرر إنهاء التعاقد مع سولشاير، عقب الخروج المبكر من بطولة دوري المؤتمر الأوروبي.
وقدّم مجلس الإدارة شكره للمدرب النرويجي على جهوده خلال الفترة التي قضاها مع الفريق، متمنياً له التوفيق في مسيرته المهنية المستقبلية.
وكان بشكتاش قد ودّع منافسات دوري المؤتمر الأوروبي من الدور الفاصل، بعد خسارته أمام لوزان السويسري بنتيجة 2-1 بمجموع مباراتي الذهاب والإياب.
يُذكر أن بشكتاش أنهى الموسم الماضي من الدوري التركي في المركز الرابع، بعدما جمع 62 نقطة من 17 فوزاً، و11 تعادلاً، و8 هزائم.
Turkish club Besiktas announced the dismissal of its Norwegian coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, just eight months after he took over the team's coaching duties.
The club clarified in a statement published on its website that the board of directors decided to terminate the contract with Solskjaer following an early exit from the UEFA Europa Conference League.
The board expressed its gratitude to the Norwegian coach for his efforts during his time with the team, wishing him success in his future professional career.
Besiktas had exited the UEFA Europa Conference League in the playoff round, after losing to Swiss side Lausanne with an aggregate score of 2-1 over the two legs.
It is worth noting that Besiktas finished last season in the Turkish league in fourth place, having collected 62 points from 17 wins, 11 draws, and 8 losses.
