وبسؤاله عن أفضل لاعب في تاريخ كرة القدم الأفريقية، أجاب صلاح ضاحكاً: «أنا»، قبل أن يضيف: «هناك العديد من الأسماء الكبيرة مثل جورج ويا، وديديه دروغبا، وصامويل إيتو».
وعن أفضل لاعب زامله في مسيرته، اختار محمد صلاح زميله السابق في تشيلسي، البلجيكي إيدين هازارد، وبسؤاله عن الثنائي الذي تمنى مزاملته، فأجاب: «تيري هنري وستيفن جيرارد».
وعند سؤاله عن أفضل مدير فني دربه، اختار محمد صلاح الإيطالي لوتشانو سالبيتي، الذي قاده في صفوف نادي روما، فيما اختار دوري أبطال أوروبا 2019 كأغلى لقب في مسيرته.
