«إصابة الركبة» تُنهي مشوار لاعب منتخب مصر في كأس العرب

The Egyptian national team announced the end of player Karim Fouad's journey in the 2025 Arab Cup, held in Qatar from December 1 to 18.

The team's doctor, Ayman Zain, explained that the scan results confirmed the player has a sprain in the inner ligament of his right knee, in addition to a sprain in the area of the cruciate ligament.

Duration of Absence

Zain added that the condition requires conservative treatment for a period ranging from 4 to 6 weeks, with full coordination with the medical staff of Al Ahly Club to follow up on the treatment program.

Karim Fouad sustained an injury during the Egyptian national team's training yesterday (Wednesday), which resulted in a severe bruise to the knee, for which he received first aid from the medical staff.
On the morning of today, the player, accompanied by the team doctor, went to "Aspetar" hospital to undergo the necessary tests and scans.

The Egyptian Team Prepares to Face the UAE

The Egyptian national team continues its preparations for the match against its UAE counterpart next Saturday, as part of the second round of the group stage in the Arab Cup.
The Egyptian team began its journey in the tournament with an exciting draw against Kuwait, with a score of one goal each, last Tuesday.
