قرر الجهاز الفني لمنتخب مصر الأول لكرة القدم استبعاد نجم ليفربول محمد صلاح من مواجهة غينيا بيساو، المقررة الأحد القادم، ضمن منافسات الجولة العاشرة والأخيرة من التصفيات الأفريقية المؤهلة إلى كأس العالم 2026.
وأوضح مدير منتخب مصر إبراهيم حسن، في تصريحات صحفية، أن محمد صلاح لن يشارك في المباراة القادمة من أجل الراحة، بعد ضمان التأهل إلى المونديال، لكنه سيتواجد في استاد القاهرة الدولي للاحتفال مع زملائه بإنجاز الصعود.
وكان المنتخب المصري قد تأهل رسمياً إلى نهائيات كأس العالم بعد فوزه على جيبوتي بـ3 أهداف دون رد الخميس الماضي، أحرزها كل من: إبراهيم عادل، ومحمد صلاح (هدفين).
ويُعد هذا التأهل هو الرابع في تاريخ منتخب مصر بعد مشاركاته السابقة في نسخ: 1934، و1990 (في إيطاليا)، و2018 (في روسيا).
The technical staff of the Egyptian national football team has decided to exclude Liverpool star Mohamed Salah from the upcoming match against Guinea-Bissau, scheduled for next Sunday, as part of the tenth and final round of the African qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup.
Egypt's national team director, Ibrahim Hassan, stated in press remarks that Mohamed Salah will not participate in the next match for rest, after securing qualification for the World Cup, but he will be present at Cairo International Stadium to celebrate with his teammates the achievement of qualification.
The Egyptian team officially qualified for the World Cup finals after defeating Djibouti 3-0 last Thursday, with goals scored by Ibrahim Adel and Mohamed Salah (two goals).
This qualification marks the fourth in the history of the Egyptian national team after its previous participations in the editions of 1934, 1990 (in Italy), and 2018 (in Russia).
