The President of the Yemeni Presidential Leadership Council and Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, Dr. Rashad Muhammad Al-Alimi, confirmed that the "Dawn of Yemen" operation is proceeding according to the approved plans until the state institutions are restored, the capital Sana'a is liberated, and the Houthi terrorist militia's coup is ended. He praised the field successes achieved by the armed forces and all military formations since the launch of the operation today (Monday).
Al-Alimi conducted a series of calls with members of the Leadership Council, including Lieutenant General Sultan Al-Arada, Lieutenant General Abdulrahman Al-Mahrimi, Lieutenant General Othman Majali, Lieutenant General Mahmoud Al-Sobaihi, Minister of Defense Lieutenant General Taher Al-Aqeeli, Chief of General Staff Lieutenant General Saghir Bin Aziz, and a number of military leaders and commanders of fronts and battlefields, to review the progress of operations and developments in the field situation.
The President of the Council listened to briefings on the developments of operations in various fronts, the level of implementation of the planned plans and tasks, and the results achieved by the armed forces and all military formations since the early hours of the launch of "Dawn of Yemen".
Al-Alimi praised the bravery, discipline, and coordination of the armed forces, military formations, and popular resistance, especially valuing the successes achieved on the western coast front in Taiz Governorate, the recovery of strategic areas and positions in Dhobab and Bab al-Mandab, and securing this vital waterway.
The President of the Council appreciated the support provided by the Coalition to Support Legitimacy, led by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, to the Yemeni armed forces, affirming that Saudi support is not limited to assisting in the restoration of state institutions and protecting the country's security and stability, but extends to enhancing the resilience of national institutions, supporting the economy, and alleviating the humanitarian and living suffering caused by the Houthi terrorist militias.
Al-Alimi stated that the successes achieved on various fronts reflect the level of readiness and coordination between the armed forces and all military formations, along with the effective support from the Coalition to Support Legitimacy, emphasizing that the operation will continue until its objectives are achieved and the state and its institutions are restored.
He called on citizens in areas forcibly controlled by the Houthi militias not to be drawn into attempts to involve them in battles, and to stay away from their military sites and gatherings, confirming that the operations are not a war against citizens or their areas or affiliations, but rather "a battle of the state for its citizens," aimed at restoring its institutions and protecting the rights and dignity of Yemenis.
He also urged those misled within the militias to seize the opportunity for safe return and the announced amnesty, to lay down their arms, stop fighting, and return to their families and homeland, affirming that the door will remain open for anyone who aligns with the state and national interest according to the announced procedures.
Al-Alimi emphasized the implementation of the National Defense Council's directives regarding strict adherence to the rules of law and military discipline, safeguarding the lives and dignity of detainees and the wounded, and not allowing any acts of revenge or individual practices that undermine the values of the armed forces and state institutions.
He confirmed that every advance achieved by the armed forces must be accompanied by the protection of civilians and public and private properties, and by behavior that embodies the values of the republic and the authority of law, stressing that the mission is not limited to regaining land, but rather "restoring the state to it," in terms of security, justice, institutions, services, and protection of citizens' rights.
