The Yemeni Minister of Information, Muammar Al-Eryani, announced that the "Yemen Dawn" operation, launched by the President of the Presidential Leadership Council, Dr. Rashad Al-Alimi, is progressing towards achieving its national goals of restoring state institutions and ending the coup.
He pointed to the achievements in the western coast, Bab al-Mandab, and the Yemeni islands, at the hands of the heroes of the Giants Brigades and the National Shield, and what the official spokesperson for the armed forces announced about the beginning of a strategic attack towards Sana'a using modern capabilities.
Support and Assistance from the Legitimacy Coalition
Al-Eryani stated in a post on the "X" platform on Monday that what our brave armed forces and all military formations are doing, with support and assistance from the Saudi-led Coalition to Support Legitimacy, represents a new phase in the battle to restore the state, cleanse the entire national territory from the Iranian-backed Houthi terrorist militia, and establish the authority of the state and its institutions over every inch of Yemen.
The Minister of Information emphasized that restoring the land, islands, and strategic sites in the Bab al-Mandab Strait not only protects Yemen's security and sovereignty but also directly contributes to safeguarding one of the most important maritime passages in the world and securing international trade and navigation, after the Houthi militia turned it into a tool for extortion and threats, linking the interests of Yemen and Yemenis to the agenda of the Iranian regime and the directives of the Revolutionary Guard.
He highly appreciated the sincere brotherly support and assistance provided by the Coalition to Support Legitimacy, led by the brothers in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, who have been and continue to be a source of support for the Yemeni people and their government in their battle to restore their state, establish security and stability, and create conditions that enable Yemenis to live in safety, dignity, and prosperity.
Restoring the State is Not the End of the Road
Al-Eryani addressed the Yemeni people by saying: Restoring the state is not the end of the road, but the beginning of a new phase, pointing out that Yemen, after restoring its security, stability, and sovereignty, will have a historic opportunity to transition from years of war and coup to construction, reconstruction, and development, attracting support and investments, reviving the economy, creating job opportunities, and improving services and the living standards of citizens. He spoke about moving towards broader economic partnership and integration with his brothers in the Gulf Cooperation Council.
Al-Eryani called on the sheikhs, dignitaries, and social and tribal figures in areas under the militia's control to keep their children and communities away from it, and not to allow it to use their children as fuel for its battles or to turn villages, homes, schools, and civilian facilities into military sites.
Rallying Around the Political Leadership
The Minister of Information urged those misled within the militia ranks to heed the President's call for a safe return, to lay down their arms, and to distance themselves from the militia's positions and mobilizations, and not to sacrifice themselves defending a project that does not serve Yemen or the future of its children. He called on the Yemeni people, both inside and outside the country, regardless of their affiliations and regions, to rally around the political leadership represented by the Presidential Leadership Council, the armed forces, security, and popular resistance, and to unify their ranks in this pivotal national phase. The Minister of Information affirmed that this is not a battle against a governorate, tribe, or sect, but rather a battle of the Yemenis to restore their state, sovereignty, and national decision, and to open the doors of the future for their children.
