قُتل شرطيان إيرانيان وأصيب ثالث في هجوم مسلح استهدف دورية للشرطة بمدينة بمبور في محافظة سيستان وبلوشستان جنوب شرقي إيران. وكشفت تقارير محلية عن استهداف مركبتين تابعتين للقوات العسكرية في المنطقة، وسقوط قتلى بين ركابهما.
وتعرضت وحدة دورية تابعة لقيادة شرطة بمبور لهجوم مسلح (الإثنين)، على محور بمبور–إيرانشهر، بحسب ما أوردت وكالة أنباء الشرطة في سيستان وبلوشستان، مؤكدة أن مسلحين فتحوا النار على عناصر الدورية أثناء قيامهم بدورية أمنية في المنطقة، ما أدى إلى مقتل شرطيين وإصابة عنصر آخر.
وأعلنت الشرطة أن قواتها بدأت عقب الهجوم عملية لتحديد هوية منفذيه واعتقالهم، مشيرة إلى أن المسلحين لا يزالون قيد الملاحقة.
استهداف مركبتين عسكريتين
وكانت معلومات تحدثت عن استهداف مركبتين تابعتين للقوات العسكرية في بمبور، بحسب منصة "حال وش" المتخصصة في متابعة شؤون البلوش في إيران، إذ أطلق مسلحون النار على إحدى المركبتين، ما أدى إلى مقتل 3 من ركابها على الأقل.
وأفادت مصادر محلية بمقتل جميع ركاب المركبة، دون أن يتسنى بصورة مستقلة التحقق من العدد الدقيق للركاب أو الحصيلة النهائية للقتلى، حيث تعرضت إحدى المركبتين لإطلاق النار وانقلبت أثناء الهجوم.
تاريخ من العمل المسلح
يذكر أن مدينة بمبور تقع في محافظة سيستان وبلوشستان، وهي منطقة شهدت خلال العقود الماضية سلسلة متواصلة من المواجهات والهجمات المسلحة بين مجموعات بلوش مسلحة والقوات الإيرانية، ولا سيما في المناطق الممتدة حول سراوان وإيرانشهر وتشابهار وزاهدان.
Two Iranian police officers were killed and a third was injured in an armed attack targeting a police patrol in the city of Bampoor in the Sistan and Baluchestan province in southeastern Iran. Local reports revealed that two military vehicles in the area were targeted, resulting in casualties among their passengers.
A patrol unit belonging to the Bampoor police command was attacked (on Monday) on the Bampoor–Iranshahr axis, according to the police news agency in Sistan and Baluchestan, confirming that armed individuals opened fire on the patrol members while they were conducting a security patrol in the area, leading to the death of two police officers and the injury of another.
The police announced that their forces began an operation to identify and arrest the perpetrators following the attack, noting that the assailants are still being pursued.
Targeting Military Vehicles
Reports indicated that two military vehicles in Bampoor were targeted, according to the "Hal Wash" platform, which specializes in monitoring the affairs of the Baluch in Iran, as armed individuals fired upon one of the vehicles, resulting in the death of at least three of its passengers.
Local sources reported that all passengers of the vehicle were killed, although it was not possible to independently verify the exact number of passengers or the final death toll, as one of the vehicles was shot at and overturned during the attack.
A History of Armed Conflict
It is worth noting that the city of Bampoor is located in Sistan and Baluchestan province, an area that has witnessed a continuous series of confrontations and armed attacks between armed Baluch groups and Iranian forces over the past decades, particularly in the regions surrounding Saravan, Iranshahr, Chabahar, and Zahedan.
