As the Houthi horns began to lament their dead, the media center of the Taiz axis announced today (Sunday) the success of the Yemeni warplanes in targeting a camp and vehicles belonging to the Houthi militia at the Mawiya junction east of Taiz governorate.
The center mentioned in posts on its account on "X": "The warplanes of our armed forces are targeting a camp and vehicles of the Houthi militia at the Mawiya junction," while local residents said that the warplanes targeted the headquarters of what is called the "rocket force," the radio camp, and a gathering of the militia near the city of Al-Salih in Al-Hawban east of Taiz.
Witnesses reported that the majority of the Houthi militants arrived yesterday from Sana'a and Ibb in preparation for their transfer to the front lines in the south, indicating that the militia was preparing for a military escalation, but the strike thwarted the plan before it could be executed.
Yemeni media and eyewitnesses reported that columns of smoke were seen rising following the airstrikes.
The Houthi militia has made the city of Al-Salih and the air defense camp in eastern Taiz their headquarters, and they are stationed in the high mountains to target markets and residential neighborhoods in the city.
On another note, local residents reported that they observed more than 20 military vehicles and five ambulances belonging to the terrorist Houthi militia transporting dead and wounded via the Sixty Road towards the Al-Dhakra area over the past 24 hours, amid indications of an increase in the number of injured. Doctors in Ibb stated that several doctors were summoned to the military hospital and forced to deal with dozens of injured, despite the number exceeding their capacity.
Meanwhile, the Houthi militia buried more than 44 leaders and members of their militia in five Yemeni governorates over the past 24 hours.
According to Yemeni media reports, among the dead who were buried were 18 leaders of various ranks, most notably Major Hafiz Ali Ahmed Al-Shami, while the positions of the others were not specified.
In the context of field operations, military sources confirmed that the warplanes of the armed forces targeted positions, gatherings, and vehicles of the Houthi militia in Maran and Saqeen in northern Saada governorate, the stronghold of the militia.
