أدانت قطر واستنكرت بأشد العبارات استهداف جماعة الحوثي مكة المكرمة بطائرة مسيرة، مؤكدة أن محاولة المساس بحرمة مكة المكرمة وبيت الله الحرام، قبلة المسلمين وأطهر بقاع الأرض، تمثل عملاً عدوانياً مشيناً وتجاوزاً بالغ الخطورة لكل الخطوط الحمراء الدينية والأخلاقية والإنسانية، واستفزازاً صارخاً لمشاعر أكثر من مليار مسلم حول العالم.
وشددت وزارة الخارجية القطرية في بيان، أن حرمة الأماكن المقدسة وأمنها وسلامة قاصديها لا يمكن أن تكون بأي حال من الأحوال موضع استهداف أو تهديد أو توظيف في النزاعات، محذرة من أن الإقدام على أعمال من شأنها تعريض مكة المكرمة والمشاعر المقدسة للخطر يمثل تصعيداً بالغ الخطورة، واستهتاراً بمكانتها الدينية والروحية العظيمة في وجدان المسلمين كافة.
وعبرت الوزارة عن تضامن دولة قطر التام مع السعودية، ودعمها لكافة الإجراءات والتدابير اللازمة لحماية أمنها وسلامة أراضيها والمقدسات الإسلامية وضيوف الرحمن، كما تعرب عن ثقتها الكاملة بقدرة المملكة على صون أمن الحرمين الشريفين والتصدي لكل ما من شأنه تهديد سلامتهما.
وجددت الوزارة موقف دولة قطر الثابت والرافض بصورة قاطعة لاستهداف المدنيين والأماكن المقدسة، داعية إلى احترام حرمة المقدسات وتجنيبها تداعيات الصراعات والتصعيد في المنطقة.
Qatar condemned and denounced in the strongest terms the targeting of Mecca by the Houthi group with a drone, affirming that any attempt to violate the sanctity of Mecca and the Sacred House of God, the qibla of Muslims and the purest place on earth, represents a disgraceful act of aggression and a serious transgression of all religious, moral, and humanitarian red lines, as well as a blatant provocation to the feelings of more than a billion Muslims around the world.
The Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs emphasized in a statement that the sanctity of holy places, their security, and the safety of those who visit them cannot, under any circumstances, be the target of attacks, threats, or exploitation in conflicts. It warned that undertaking actions that would endanger Mecca and the sacred sites represents a very serious escalation and a disregard for their significant religious and spiritual status in the hearts of all Muslims.
The ministry expressed the full solidarity of the State of Qatar with Saudi Arabia and its support for all necessary measures and procedures to protect its security, the safety of its territories, Islamic sanctities, and the guests of God. It also expressed its complete confidence in the Kingdom's ability to safeguard the security of the Two Holy Mosques and to confront any threats to their safety.
The ministry reiterated the firm and unequivocal position of the State of Qatar rejecting the targeting of civilians and holy places, calling for respect for the sanctity of sacred sites and keeping them away from the repercussions of conflicts and escalation in the region.
