أعلنت هيئة النزاهة الاتحادية في العراق، اليوم (الأربعاء)، صدور قرار حكم بالسجن لمدة سبع سنوات بحقّ عضو مجلس النواب بهاء الدين نور محمد حسين؛ بتهمة الكسب غير المشروع، فضلاً عن إلزامه بردّ أكثر من 40 مليار دينار يمثل قيمة الكسب غير المشروع والغرامة المالية التي تعادلها.
وأوضح بيان الهيئة، أن محكمة جنايات مكافحة الفساد المركزية أصدرت قرار حكم بالسجن لمدة سبع سنوات بحقّ المدان بهاء الدين نور محمد حسين، عضو مجلس النواب؛ استناداً إلى أحكام المادة (19/ثانياً) من قانون هيئة النزاهة والكسب غير المشروع رقم (30 لسنة 2011) المعدل، مضيفة: أن المحكمة قررت إلزام المدان بردّ قيمة الكسب غير المشروع البالغة 5,887,850,000 خمسة مليارات وثمانمائة وسبعة وثمانين مليون دينار عراقي، و10,990,787 عشرة ملايين وتسعمائة وتسعين ألف دولار أمريكي، فضلاً عن فرض غرامة مالية عليه تعادل قيمة الكسب غير المشروع، وفقاً لأحكام المادة (19/رابعاً) من قانون الهيئة.

وأشارت الهيئة إلى أن المحكمة أصدرت حكماً آخر بالحبس الشديد لمدة ثلاث سنوات بحقّ المدان وفقاً لأحكام المادة (19/خامساً) من قانون الهيئة، وذلك عن جريمة إخفاء معلومات في استمارة الذمة المالية الخاصة به، فيما قررت تطبيق العقوبة الأشدّ بحقه، فضلاً عن تأييد الحجز الواقع على أمواله المنقولة وغير المنقولة.
The Federal Integrity Commission in Iraq announced today (Wednesday) the issuance of a prison sentence of seven years against Member of Parliament Bahaa al-Din Noor Muhammad Hussein for the crime of illicit gain, in addition to obliging him to return more than 40 billion dinars, which represents the value of the illicit gain and the equivalent financial penalty.
The Commission's statement clarified that the Central Anti-Corruption Criminal Court issued a prison sentence of seven years against the convicted Bahaa al-Din Noor Muhammad Hussein, a Member of Parliament, based on the provisions of Article (19/Second) of the Integrity and Illicit Gain Law No. (30 of 2011) as amended. It added that the court decided to obligate the convicted individual to return the value of the illicit gain amounting to 5,887,850,000 five billion eight hundred eighty-seven million Iraqi dinars and 10,990,787 ten million nine hundred ninety thousand US dollars, in addition to imposing a financial penalty on him equivalent to the value of the illicit gain, according to the provisions of Article (19/Fourth) of the Law.

The Commission indicated that the court issued another ruling of rigorous imprisonment for three years against the convicted individual according to the provisions of Article (19/Fifth) of the Law, for the crime of concealing information in his financial disclosure form, while deciding to apply the harsher penalty against him, in addition to upholding the seizure of his movable and immovable assets.
