The first team football delegation of Al Ahly Club departed this morning (Wednesday) to South Africa, in preparation for the upcoming match against South African team Sundowns on (Saturday) evening, as part of the Pacific Ocean Cup for continents.
Al Ahly is scheduled to have two training sessions in South Africa before the anticipated match, as the coaching staff, led by Dutch coach Marino Pusic, aims to prepare the players and finalize the tactical touches on the lineup that will participate in the match.
Al Ahly will miss the services of their Gambian player Abubakar Sidi during the match, as he did not travel with the team to South Africa due to not being fully fit. The coaching staff preferred not to rush his participation until he reaches full readiness.
