أعلن محافظ البيضاء الشيخ ناصر السوادي انطلاق العملية العسكرية لتحرير المحافظة من قبضة مليشيا الحوثي المدعومة من إيران، مؤكداً استعادة مناطق إستراتيجية مهمة وتكبيد المليشيا خسائر كبيرة في الأرواح والمعدات وسط فرار جماعي لعناصرها.
وأوضح السوادي في تصريح خاص إلى «عكاظ» أن قوات العمالقة والمقاومة تمكنت من السيطرة الكاملة على منطقتي «المجريش» و«ذا مخشب» بمديرية الزاهر بعد دحر المواقع المتقدمة للمليشيا، مشيراً إلى أن القوات تواصل تقدمها الميداني بثبات ونوعية باتجاه مركز مديرية الزاهر ومديرية «ذي ناعم».
ولفت محافظ البيضاء إلى أن صفوف مليشيا الحوثي شهدت انهيارات واسعة وفراراً جماعياً لفلولها باتجاه مركز المحافظة تحت ضربات القوات المشتركة وإسناد مباشر ومكثف من مقاتلات سلاح الجو اليمني. وأشاد المحافظ بالقوات المسلحة اليمنية ومستوى التجهيز والقدرات والتطوير الذي أظهرته في العمليات ونجحت في قهر الحوثي وهزيمته، مبيناً أن الشعب اليمني قادر على الدفاع عن مقدراته والتخلص من بطش الحوثي والمشروع الإيراني المدمر. وأكد السوادي أن العمليات العسكرية مستمرة حتى تحرير كل شبر في اليمن.
The Governor of Al-Bayda, Sheikh Nasser Al-Suwadi, announced the launch of the military operation to liberate the governorate from the grip of the Iran-backed Houthi militia, confirming the recovery of important strategic areas and inflicting heavy losses on the militia in terms of lives and equipment amidst a mass flight of its elements.
Al-Suwadi explained in a special statement to "Okaz" that the Giants Forces and the resistance managed to gain full control over the areas of "Al-Majreesh" and "Dhah Makhashab" in the Al-Zahir district after defeating the militia's advanced positions, noting that the forces continue their steady and qualitative field advancement towards the center of the Al-Zahir district and the "Dhii Na'em" district.
The Governor of Al-Bayda pointed out that the ranks of the Houthi militia have witnessed widespread collapses and a mass flight of its remnants towards the center of the governorate under the strikes of the joint forces and direct and intensive support from the Yemeni Air Force fighters. The governor praised the Yemeni armed forces and the level of preparation, capabilities, and development they have shown in the operations, succeeding in overcoming and defeating the Houthis, indicating that the Yemeni people are capable of defending their resources and getting rid of the Houthi oppression and the destructive Iranian project. Al-Suwadi confirmed that military operations will continue until every inch of Yemen is liberated.
