نيابةً عن وزير الخارجية الأمير فيصل بن فرحان بن عبدالله، شارك نائب وزير الخارجية المهندس وليد الخريجي، اليوم، في اجتماع مجلس جامعة الدول العربية على المستوى الوزاري في دورته العادية الـ166 بمقر الأمانة العامة في القاهرة.
وجرى خلال الاجتماع استعراض مسيرة العمل العربي المشترك، وتطوير آليات عملها بما يحقق تطلعات الدول الأعضاء وشعوبها، كما ناقش الاجتماع أهمية تكثيف التنسيق العربي المشترك لوقف الانتهاكات الإسرائيلية في الأراضي الفلسطينية المحتلة، والاعتداءات الإيرانية السافرة على عدد من الدول العربية، وما نتج عنها من استهداف للمدنيين والمنشآت الحيوية.
المستجدات والتطورات
وبحث الاجتماع المستجدات في العديد من القضايا العربية والتطورات على الساحة الدولية، ومنها أمن وسلامة الممرات المائية الدولية وضمان حرية الملاحة البحرية فيها، وضرورة عودة مضيق هرمز إلى وضعه الطبيعي، وتعزيز الأمن والاستقرار للمنطقة وشعوبها.
حضر الاجتماع مندوب المملكة الدائم لدى جامعة الدول العربية السفير عبدالعزيز المطر.
التصدي للاستيطان والتهجير
ونيابةً عن وزير الخارجية الأمير فيصل بن فرحان بن عبدالله، شارك نائب وزير الخارجية المهندس وليد الخريجي، اليوم، في اجتماع اللجنة الوزارية المكلفة بالتحرك لمواجهة السياسات والإجراءات الإسرائيلية غير القانونية في مدينة القدس المحتلة، المنعقد بمقر الجامعة العربية في القاهرة.
وجرى خلال الاجتماع بحث سبل تعزيز الجهود العربية المشتركة لوقف الانتهاكات والاعتداءات الإسرائيلية على مدينة القدس والمناطق المحتلة، ومناقشة التصدي للإجراءات الإسرائيلية السافرة في فلسطين والسياسيات التوسعية وعمليات الاستيطان والتهجير المخالفة لكافة القوانين الدولية.

On behalf of Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, Deputy Foreign Minister Engineer Walid Al-Khreeji participated today in the 166th ordinary session of the Arab League Council at the ministerial level, held at the General Secretariat in Cairo.
During the meeting, the progress of joint Arab action was reviewed, and mechanisms for its development were discussed to meet the aspirations of member states and their peoples. The meeting also addressed the importance of intensifying joint Arab coordination to stop Israeli violations in the occupied Palestinian territories, as well as the blatant Iranian assaults on several Arab countries, which have resulted in targeting civilians and vital facilities.
Updates and Developments
The meeting discussed updates on various Arab issues and developments on the international stage, including the security and safety of international waterways and ensuring freedom of maritime navigation within them, the necessity of restoring the Strait of Hormuz to its normal status, and enhancing security and stability for the region and its peoples.
The meeting was attended by the Kingdom's Permanent Representative to the Arab League, Ambassador Abdulaziz Al-Matrouk.
Confronting Settlement and Displacement
On behalf of Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, Deputy Foreign Minister Engineer Walid Al-Khreeji participated today in a meeting of the ministerial committee tasked with addressing the illegal Israeli policies and actions in the occupied city of Jerusalem, held at the Arab League headquarters in Cairo.
During the meeting, ways to enhance joint Arab efforts to stop Israeli violations and assaults on the city of Jerusalem and the occupied territories were discussed, along with addressing the blatant Israeli measures in Palestine and the expansionist policies and settlement operations that violate all international laws.
The meeting was attended by the Kingdom's Permanent Representative to the Arab League, Ambassador Abdulaziz Al-Matrouk.
