وسط خسائر كبيرة في صفوف المليشيا وتقدم للجيش اليمني، تتواصل المعارك اليوم (السبت)، في محاور الجراحي بمحافظة الحديدة والبرح وجبل حبشي ومديرية مقبنة غرب محافظة تعز، والحجرية جنوب المحافظة.
وأكد مصدر عسكري لـ«عكاظ»، تحقيق الجيش اليمني تقدماً في البرح والحجرية في تعز، والجراحي جنوب محافظة الحديدة، مؤكداً مقتل أكثر من 284 حوثياً خلال الـ24 ساعة الماضية.
وقال المصدر: وصل إلى مستشفى البرح في مديرية مقبنة أكثر من 242 قتيلاً حوثياً بينهم قيادات، فيما استقبل مستشفى سقم في نفس المديرية نحو 42 قتيلاً بينهم مشرفون ميدانيون، وهناك أنباء عن نقل قتلى وعناصر أخرى إلى مستشفيات إب والحوبان.
بدوره، أكد مساعد المسؤول الأمني للساحل الغربي مأمون المهجمي، القبض على قيادي حوثي رفيع في مثلث العدين بمديرية حيس جنوب الحديدة، لافتاً إلى أن هناك تقدماً كبيراً في مديرية الجراحي في إطار هجوم معاكس ينفذه المقاتلون في الجيش.
وقال مصدر عسكري في مديرية مقبنة لـ«عكاظ»: تمت السيطرة اليوم على منطقة السويهرة بالكامل والتنكيل بالحوثيين، مبيناً أن الجيش يواصل تقدمه.
وأعلنت المقاومة الوطنية التابعة للجيش اليمني، إسقاط مسيّرتين حوثيتين انتحاريتين موجهتين بالألياف الضوئية في جبهة البرح غرب تعز، فيما دمرت مسيرات المقاومة تعزيزات حوثية جنوب الجراحي تزامناً مع هجوم بري تشنه المقاومة مسنودة بوحدات من مختلف التشكيلات العسكرية.
وأوضح الإعلام العسكري أن القوات البحرية دمرت زورقين مفخخين لمليشيا الحوثي الإرهابية حاولا استهداف الفجرة جنوب الخوخة وميناء المخا.
من جهته، قال محافظ الحديدة، الدكتور الحسن طاهر، إن التصعيد العسكري الأخير لمليشيا الحوثي يمثل مؤشراً حاسماً على قرب خروجها النهائي من محافظتي الحديدة وتعز، مبيناً أن هذه الانتهاكات ستعّجل بنهاية وجود المليشيا في كافة المناطق التي تسيطر عليها لخدمة الأجندات الإيرانية.
ودعا المحافظ القوات المسلحة في الميدان في رسالته لهم إلى الثبات، مؤكداً أن الأحداث الميدانية التي شهدتها الساعات الماضية تحمل في طياتها مآلات إيجابية لصالح استعادة الدولة وتطهير المحافظات من الانقلاب.
ووصف طاهر ما أقدمت عليه المليشيا بأنه «الخطوة المحسوبة»، مؤكداً أنها ستسرّع من وتيرة انهيارها.
Amid significant losses within the militia and advances by the Yemeni army, battles continue today (Saturday) in the Al-Jarahi fronts in Al-Hudaydah governorate, Al-Burh, Jabal Habashi, and the Maqbana district in western Taiz governorate, as well as in Al-Hujariya in the southern part of the governorate.
A military source confirmed to “Okaz” that the Yemeni army has made progress in Al-Burh and Al-Hujariya in Taiz, and Al-Jarahi in the south of Al-Hudaydah governorate, stating that more than 284 Houthis were killed in the past 24 hours.
The source said: More than 242 Houthi dead, including leaders, arrived at Al-Burh Hospital in the Maqbana district, while Al-Suqam Hospital in the same district received about 42 dead, including field supervisors, and there are reports of transporting dead and other elements to hospitals in Ibb and Al-Huban.
For his part, the assistant security official for the western coast, Mamoun Al-Mahjami, confirmed the arrest of a senior Houthi leader in the Al-Adain triangle in the Hays district south of Al-Hudaydah, noting that there has been significant progress in the Al-Jarahi district as part of a counter-offensive carried out by the army fighters.
A military source in the Maqbana district told “Okaz”: Today, the area of Al-Suwayhira was completely controlled, and the Houthis were dealt with severely, indicating that the army continues its advance.
The National Resistance affiliated with the Yemeni army announced the downing of two Houthi suicide drones guided by fiber optics in the Al-Burh front west of Taiz, while the resistance's drones destroyed Houthi reinforcements south of Al-Jarahi coinciding with a ground attack launched by the resistance supported by units from various military formations.
The military media clarified that the naval forces destroyed two explosive-laden boats belonging to the terrorist Houthi militia that attempted to target Al-Fajra south of Al-Khawkah and the port of Al-Mokha.
For his part, the governor of Al-Hudaydah, Dr. Al-Hassan Taher, stated that the recent military escalation by the Houthi militia represents a decisive indicator of their imminent final exit from Al-Hudaydah and Taiz governorates, indicating that these violations will hasten the end of the militia's presence in all areas they control to serve Iranian agendas.
The governor called on the armed forces in the field in his message to them to remain steadfast, affirming that the field events witnessed in the past hours carry positive outcomes in favor of restoring the state and cleansing the governorates from the coup.
Taher described the militia's actions as a “calculated step,” confirming that it will accelerate their collapse.
