بهذه النتيجة، تجمد رصيد ريال مدريد عند 9 نقاط في المركز الثاني بجدول ترتيب الدوري الإسباني، متساوياً في النقاط مع برشلونة المتصدر بفارق الأهداف، والذي سيواجه فالنسيا غداً (الأحد)، ضمن منافسات الجولة ذاتها.
