تحول هدوء صلاة الجمعة في محافظة المنيا بمصر إلى كابوس مرعب وحالة من الذهول الصادم، إثر حادثة أليمة هزّت شارع المؤسسة بعزبة شاهين، عقب انهيار مفاجئ لعقار مأهول بالسكان مكون من أربعة طوابق وسقوطه كاملاً فوق رؤوس قاطنيه.
الدوي المروع الذي أحدثه الانهيار دفع الأهالي للخروج من المساجد والهرولة نحو موقع الفاجعة، ليجدوا المبنى قد تحول في لحظات إلى كومة ضخمة من الركام. وبحسب الجهات المصرية الرسمية، أسفرت عمليات البحث الأولية عن انتشال جثة سيدة مسنة، إلى جانب إنقاذ ابنتها التي تعمل «طبيبة» ونقلهما فوراً إلى المستشفى وسط حالة من الصدمة بين الجيران.
لكن الأحداث أخذت منحنى أكثر دراماتيكية ورعباً، حين أكد شهود عيان سماع صرخات واستغاثات خافتة ينبعث صداها من أسفل الركام لثلاثة مصابين عقب مرور ساعة كاملة على الانهيار! وتسابق قوات الحماية المدنية والإسعاف الزمن في موقع الحادثة لرفع الأنقاض بأسلوب يدوي وحذر، وسط حبس للأنفاس وترقب لخروج المحاصرين أحياء من تحت الركام.
The calm of Friday prayers in the Minya Governorate of Egypt turned into a terrifying nightmare and a state of shocking bewilderment, following a tragic incident that shook Al-Moassasa Street in Aizbat Shahin, after the sudden collapse of a four-story residential building, completely falling on the heads of its occupants.
The horrifying noise caused by the collapse drove residents out of the mosques and rushing towards the site of the tragedy, only to find the building transformed in moments into a massive pile of rubble. According to official Egyptian sources, initial search operations resulted in the recovery of the body of an elderly woman, alongside the rescue of her daughter, who works as a "doctor," and their immediate transfer to the hospital amidst a state of shock among the neighbors.
However, events took a more dramatic and terrifying turn when eyewitnesses confirmed hearing faint cries and pleas for help echoing from beneath the rubble from three injured individuals, an hour after the collapse! Civil protection and ambulance forces raced against time at the scene of the incident to carefully and manually lift the debris, amidst held breaths and anticipation for the trapped individuals to emerge alive from under the rubble.
